When you download or update this app, or when you apply for, enrol in, or use a service through mobile banking, we may collect information about your computer or device, operating system, internet connection or telephone account, settings, IP address and device locational data, and transaction data, as well as personal information.
We may collect, use, disclose, and retain this information as set out in the Scotiabank Privacy Agreement (https://jm.scotiabank.com/about-scotiabank/connect-with-scotiabank/privacy.html) and to determine which settings are appropriate for your computer system, to provide or enhance digital functionality and banking options, and for security purposes, internal analysis, and reporting.
Been using the app since May 2020. Initially it worked great but since Dec 2020 it’s not been unstable. I’ve called the Scotia support line to report bug related issues a couple times but there’ve been no changes in over 5 weeks now. The app crashes each time I try to use it to pay a bill. Also I no longer receive notifications so things like verifying myself as the authentic user on my online account no longer works. You all also need to delete older apps which are no longer functional from the Apple store. It’s confusing to your customers. Today I tried deleting then Re downloading the app but there’s no guidance on which app has been discontinued. I was also able to download and have 2 different Scotia-Caribbean apps on my phone which shouldn’t be. You have a great app but bug fixes like these are needed to ensure your customers can use your product seamlessly.

Out of all the banks I’ve banked with. Scotia Bank has and still is the most reliable and convenient bank and banking app. Only thing that needs improvement is increasing some staff, in the Bahamas so that walk-ins can be a bit more swift. Also improve on ATM’s accepting deposits. Weekends are most challenging due to most ATM’s would not accept any more cash, however the hotline service is extremely excellent. And all to most of those who have assisted me has been pleasant, friendly, professional and more than helpful. Thank you to those who continue to provide us ( clients) with excellent service. Your hard work is noticed.

Cannot transfer to others

I have used the app successfully for a long time and in June of this year I was unable to access any recipients to whom I normally transfer funds - it says I have no recipients and when I try to add someone it doesn’t allow me to - I have called the Scotia online banking number on numerous occasions to be told it will be escalated and problem is still not resolved and I don’t even get a call or email back to help - very frustrating to say the least - I feel like just banking with another bank at this point…

Good day, I have noticed that this app has an issue where it’s glitching or it has a spyware or virus. I say this Be Because whenever you try to sign in, the app don’t sign in, then at times the app would allow you to sign in then immediately cut out or sign out, you would have to go through this process sometimes at least two or three times before you sign in successfully. Please address this issue ASAP. It gives the person thoughts that their accounts are being compromised or hacked. The app was working fine until this started to happen. Now it’s not opening at all. Please correct same.
