The Scotiabank mobile app lets you manage, move, and monitor your money using your mobile phone.
When you use Scotiabank’s mobile deposit feature, we will access your device camera to take a picture of your cheque; record the cheque number, account number, institution transit number, and amount; record your device model, as well as its iOS version and manufacturer.
When you download or update this app, or when you apply for, enrol in, or use a service through mobile banking, we may collect information about your computer or device, operating system, internet connection or telephone account, settings, IP address and device locational data, and transaction data, as well as personal information.

Best Banking App
Quite honestly this app and bank have been the best to work with in my experience. The app is fantastic, easy to navigate, and reliable. For the actual bank I’ve also had a good experience. I’m not from Canada and my parants sent me money from another country but the rang it in as a Canadian check. I realize I should have specified it wasn’t a Canadian check but they eventually got the problem resolved and gave me the right amount of money. Good people to work with. :)
Would love to rate at zero
Had the most ridiculous couple of days trying to register for mobile banking and this piece of crap
Told repeatedly that my info does not match records Despite they used my cell phone to tell me to download this technology and my email address to do similarly not to mention fact that I have been using my apparently non existent scotia card for on line purchases with no problems Spent forever on phone last night given temporary password which did not work Deleted and reinstalled app as told this would work No it didn’t Bunch of crap Ended up with a lecture from the assistant explaining to me that internet banking was how things were going Told him I was well aware as have UK accounts with on line banking when these jokers were getting excited about chip and pin cards
Need new balance for every transaction
The only thing missing is the new, updated balance after every transaction.
It could be a small number to the right of the amount of the transaction. It’s easier to keep track that way rather than waiting until the end of the month to view my statement.
