It works fine but you need the card.

When I try to use only the app, it usually doesn’t work, but the card works perfectly. The problem is that if you don’t live in the country or don’t own an EV, you can’t get the card. Miio should solve this by making the card available locally — in stores, supermarkets, and even at rental agencies.

Leans heavily into dark patterns such as requiring both phone and email address, while implying that you have a choice until they have one of them. Follows that up with spammy whole-screen call to action splashes.Look mate, just show me the map where the chargers are and I'll happily make my payments through your app so that you get your cut. Make me have to do unnecessary busy work though? Well, I'll just make my payments direct to the charger network operator. Thanks anyway.

Started charging via BP station’s onboard reader (not miio) but got charged an invoice anyway. while the miio app showed “not connected, not charging” the entire time. Tried for 40+ min to stop the session through every method available; nothing worked. Had to abandon my car mid-charge to pick up kids, then Uber back later. miio’s own support has acknowledged similar cases in other reviews. Basically it can silently bill you for a session it says isn’t happening, with no way to stop it, is a real safety and financial risk. This shouldn’t be allowed on the App Store until it’s fixed.

It doesn't work

We rented an electric car as an experiment and now I'm not happy about it. The charge is reduced, and it is not at all clear how to pay for the charge. It is better to take a car with DSV and not have to worry about charging the battery. There is no way to contact support, the email is not valid, so it all looks like a scam. The payment is processed quickly, but the money has not yet been credited to the account, although two or more hours have already passed. I have already regretted 100 times that I bought an electric car in Portugal.
