This update adds a full photo editor before upload, so you can crop, rotate, adjust colours, apply filters, draw and add text or stickers to project, stash and attachment photos. Project sorting now follows Ravelry more closely, and Row Counters behave consistently across the app, widget and watch. Projects and stash also handle offline mode more smoothly. The Feed tab now includes an optional Magazine beta with short articles inspired by current Ravelry patterns and releases.

This update improves stash, tools, patterns, and sign-in. Besides the Basic and Advanced layouts, there is now also a Legacy layout. This brings back the previous Stash2Go 2 layout approach, which several users had asked for. We fixed camera access when scanning yarn or adding stash photos, improved yarn selection from stash while editing projects, and made sure newly added needles and hooks appear correctly in the toolbox. Stash edits now save more reliably, with a visible saving indicator while updates are being applied. We also improved the message shown when signing in without internet, and pattern lists now return to the previous position after opening a pattern.

Organize complex projects with named parts like front, back, and sleeves, each with its own independent row counter. Your stash now shows the remaining yarn balance after subtracting what’s already used in projects. You can place widgets on your home screen to track project progress at a glance. When you finish a project, create a shareable highlight card with your best photos along with yarn and needle details. A new yarn substitution calculator helps you estimate how much of an alternative yarn you’ll need. Forum scrolling is smoother with rich embeds, and you can now copy text from forum posts.

This update brings several new features to Stash2Go. You can now share or open PDFs directly in Stash2Go from Files, Safari, Dropbox, and other apps. PDFs are added automatically to PDF Explorer and can be stored in the Cloud, on your Device, or as a Link. You can now add yarn shops manually, use an improved Gauge Calculator with instant calculation and helpful guidance, get started with Google-only sign-in, and manage needles and hooks in one place.

The PDF Viewer is now called Smart Pattern Reader, a name that better reflects all the tools it now includes. For everyone working with patterns, projects, and notes, this update brings noticeable day-to-day improvements. Ravelry PDFs and private PDFs now work much more seamlessly, with improved PDF explorer/detail views, pinning, uploads, enhanced markers, and a toggle for natural vertical scrolling. Working with patterns has also been expanded with chart detection (beta), a more integrated dashboard workflow, better export of project settings, and an improved iPhone dashboard experience in the PDF viewer. Forums, notes, and project management have also been improved, including fixes for read/unread behavior and replying, better editor controls, and a new option to search topics within a forum. In addition, there’s an enhanced notes editor, decisions placeholders, and faster modal-based editing for project details like status and progress. Supported Ravelry links can now also be opened directly from Safari in the app.

Stash sorting has been improved so your chosen order is applied consistently after refreshes and when changing filters. We also updated the icon set with theme-aware rendering, higher-contrast options, and a simplified style for clearer navigation. Beta testing is easier to join with a new entry in Settings. Notes editing has been improved so the cursor and active line stay visible when the keyboard is open. In the forums, unread indicators behave more consistently and returning to the topic list now keeps your previous position. Presentation mode for patterns and projects has also been improved for more dependable reading.

In this update, we continued improving readability and accessibility. Light mode colors were refined and contrast was enhanced to make content more comfortable to read across all devices. The forum experience is now more reliable. Topics with unread replies automatically appear in your overview and counters reset correctly. There is also a new option to mark all content as read. Guest forums can now be opened directly in Ravelry to subscribe there. Search and result lists now behave more consistently. Spacing, alignment, and presentation were unified, duplicate entries removed, and overall clarity improved. Project and stash filters are now more dependable. Hit counts are clearer, resetting filters works as expected, and the overall filter logic has been simplified. On iPad, available screen space is now used more effectively, improving readability and navigation. We also fixed issues with tool information in projects, especially for knitting and weaving. Finally, image loading was optimized. Portrait and landscape images now load faster and are displayed more accurately without unnecessary cropping. This update includes fixes and functional improvements. The square image layout has been reintroduced and can be selected in search views. The welcome page is now configurable, and projects can be started directly from the queue. Forum browsing has been simplified, with corrected forum images and appropriate fallback graphics. Fixed project editing issues affecting craft type, gauge handling, and happiness display. You can now add yarn directly from your stash while editing projects and use improved stash filtering. Project tags are now tappable for easier discovery. Forums now show unread indicators again, scrolling is smoother, forum visibility can be customized, and reply buttons are hidden in locked topics. Photo handling has been improved with HEIC upload support on iOS, faster gallery loading, captions, photo reordering, and clearer permission error messages. Stash updates include a new colorway field, fixed notes entry on Android, and proper rounding of remaining skein values. Also includes sync reliability improvements and multiple UI fixes.
