No more dark mode. Clean interface but glitchy after initial connection

Works until I click on the other tiles then go back to headphones settings and it says they’re not connected anymore. Restarting the app & staying away from the other tiles works. Previous versions of the app worked better before the redesign but the important stuff works with a little fincking. Could be my Indy ANCs becoming less stable with newer versions of app. Request for better stability & compatibility, less ui overhauls. Ui design has always been a hit out the ballpark.

Works until I click on the other tiles then go back to headphones settings and it says they’re not connected anymore. Restarting the app & staying away from the other tiles works. Latest update changes the UI a lot. It used to be dark based but now it is light based with no option for dark mode (kind of minor but would really like a fix). A larger problem is it is unable to connect to my headphones (Crusher Evo). It says to make sure the device is powered on and nearby. I am currently listening to music on them from my device so… range is not the issue. This was not an issue before the update.Update: Not sure why but the app is working better now. It is able to connect to the headphones even if the headphones are playing music (like before the app update). Developer response was not helpful and played no role in the app spontaneously working other than making me try my way again. Changing rating to 3 stars since there is no dark mode. Add that back and I might change my rating 4 stars.

I’ve been using this app for a few years now, and Skull Candy headphones since they still used a headphone jack to plug in.I absolutely hate the new app design. It’s ugly – they went from dark and easy on the eyes to bright and utterly atrocious. There is no way to customize it either. If you’re like me and sensitive to white backgrounds (and the eyestrain they cause) you can’t even revert back to the dark mode style it had before.Incredibly upsetting to see a lack of customization and accessibility in an otherwise simple app.*** EDIT: I’ve come back again to lower my review and add some additional information.Connecting to this app has never been ‘easy’; it will find a way to fight you at every step. Sometimes, you’ll even need to set up the product multiple times in order to get it to work. At least twice a year I need to re-setup the same headphones I’ve been using, even when they’re connected via Blutooth.That being said, there are some serious connectivity issues with this new app version, and they’ve gotten consistently worse. I’ve used the same Indy Evo’s for a couple years now, and they suddenly can’t connect, or I need to open and close the app 2-4 times to get them to finally recognize that the same headphones as always are being used. Very irritating.

I love how bass boosted the headphones are and I also adore how you can personalize your audio in the app. But, I’ve always had issues with connecting them to my phone. The ones I have used to be my brothers, but he told me for new users connecting the headphones requires you to turn them on first and then press and hold on both the volume up and down button. I’ve seen a couple people who’ve had issues with that, so just wanted to clarify some confusion!
