I love the option to use Olive Young online after using Yesstyle for multiple years. Each item is a bit more pricey than Yesstyle, but I enjoy the free shipping over $60.However, the app itself is really not user friendly and needs a major improvement. Not to mention the scroll speed and having to rescroll after clicking "load more", the app does not save my log in credentials, which is really common in every app I use (except for TWG app but don't even get me started on that app 🤦‍♀️). Even if I need to log in every time, swiping out every item I added to my cart after logging in is just.. bad. I can't remember how many times, including now, I decide not to purchase and go for Hanpoom instead after adding 10+ items in cart and see them go away after logging in. I think it's something pretty basic and definitely needs to be changed.

I’ve been Gold Olive for years. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on Olive Young Global because they have good deals, great sales, and easy access to Korea exclusive products. The new Olive Young US site is a slap in the face. All I want is US access to OY Global. I do not want to shop the US store. It’s higher prices, worse deals, terrible inventory, and none of the Korea exclusive products or collabs. The cherry on top is doubling the spend requirement for Gold status. It doesn’t matter what they do—if they don’t allow US consumers to access their Global site, I’m never shopping from them again. I’d rather wait two months and pay more at other online retailers out of spite. Olive Young sees their US consumer base as cash cows. Well, I’m mooooving along to other retailers who don’t treat me like a piggy bank. US consumers deserve to have our desires and needs met just like their Korean and Global consumer base. Treating us as lesser because they think they can squeeze more profit from us is disgusting. Honestly if they do allow us to use OY Global again I don’t know if I would use it after this. The more I think about it, the angrier I get at how we’ve been treated and the less I even want to support their brick and mortar stores in Korea when I visit. I don’t think I’ll ever give them another penny ever again after this. Disgusting business practices. I hope they’re happy with their poor decision making and alienating their US consumer base.

Despite the many harsh reviews on this app, I had a fairly easy time using it and I’ve purchased from it 4 times already and shipment was always on time and the products look legit too. It’s definitely not user friendly , but I got the hang of using it pretty quickly. The only reason I have it 4 star was because of the coupons. I knew which items were discounted with the coupons , but I’ve never liked the concept of having a “50% off coupon” yet it comes with a “$15 USD off limit” only, if you know what I mean. When I see a coupon with a discount I expect it to give me the actual discount cost for it, so the coupons are a bit misleading and this app isn’t the only one that has coupons like that which kinda grinds my gears. Other than that, this is a legit app. The products are amazing and my main tip would be to only purchase on here when there’s a sale going on otherwise the products are a bit on the pricier side.

olive young expanding in the US? thats fine and kinda cool, good for them ig, but you wanna know what ISN’T cool for me as a consistent customer with a makeup routine thats half kbeauty and not the slop that gets promoted heavily here in the states??? LOSING all my points and gold status that i’ve built from over two years of spending, no more gifts or 1+1 deals, access to my favorite foundation refills, and we don’t even get the option to still use the global store. if i wanted loreal products i’d go to target, i shopped at olive young cause everything here is so warm and borderline orange as a neutral-cool toned girl & it made more sense to restock my makeup on here instead of the tar pit that is sephora, and now i’m back to where i started. thank you sooooo much olive young thank you soooo much, i hope your worthless sloppy venture to basically be a worse version of sephora & ulta combined burns and i genuinely hope you lose business in the west if it means i can actually use my actual account again instead of this nonsense you insist on serving this end of your customer base. its almost like people shopped here to get GET PRODUCTS WE CANT GET HERE. genuinely worthless, thanks so much!
