if i have to be honest im a big fan of this as a coach this app lets me do lots of things with players offense and defense i do infact like the Team color and playbook also i can use a team an out my players in, it feels very personal and i love it. however it does cost money to use, i would wish that it would be free but not give the same benefits, give one week of premium then after that u can get a lesser version. but that is my honest review

I want to be sure you know about our Offseason Mode - if you don't need to use the app year-round, you can pause your subscription for the offseason and we'll store everything in the cloud free up to 12 months so your playbooks are there when you need them next season. Need new ride with A/C
I’ve tried about a half dozen software applications to create playbooks for youth football. This one is hands down the best and the best value. Graphics are top notch, scalable printing options (including wrist bands) cover all the bases, the defense module is way better than other apps, and Playmaker X is very easy to use. Over the past 3 seasons tech support has literally gotten back to me almost immediately with a remedy anytime I’ve had an issue or question. Compared to the software I was using before, Playmaker X is significantly faster. We just switched leagues with new rules and number of players. I got 12 new plays made and printed on my lunch break before our first practice. Get your playbook done efficiently, modify it quickly as your team develops, and focus on your players. Enjoy!

Coaching flag football 11-15 y/o for two years. Last season I made a verbal play calling system, which was difficult for all of the kids to retain. It also limited the number of plays. This year I used Playmaker X to create 18 plays and print them to wristbands. This saved a ton of practice time. Their positions are color-coded, so they just have to do what the play card says. That way, I could make more complex plays and spend practice time working on timing and skills.

Great football app

I coached my sons football team this year and with all the rules and regulations around Covid it was a tough year. It wasn’t as fun and we couldn’t play tackle. Once we got the chance to do flag, this app was killer! It made making plays fun for the boys. It was a great learning tool as I could easily show them the plays. It’s very user friendly. This all definitely enhanced my sons football season and made it the best it could be!Great customer service behind this app as well! I’ll subscribe again next year for sure

The Fall 2025 Tactician Update includes enhancements to play diagrams, notes, organization and printing.
Playmaker is designed to get your best plays on the field efficiently and to maximize player comprehension. With this update we’ve introduced bulk play categorization to make organizing and printing wristbands and call sheets faster and with more style options than ever before.
On play diagrams, you can now assign custom colors to text annotations to visually link them to position icons. We’ve also made play position notes easier to edit and view in the app with our new auto sizing text boxes.
