After update everything works well and the dev did not hold back! Gorgeous app that is minimal yet has the features you want with absolutely no bloat. I am extremely happy I kept this app and I definitely plan to use more.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:1. Open "Editor Settings" and navigate to "Library" tab.2. Select "mmd" as default file extension (any file extension except "md" should work).3. Now you should be able to create and edit documents.It seems there is a problem with default "md" Markdown extension on some devices. We already working on a solution.
