I really like this game for a lot of reasons. Mostly this game has semi long term enjoyment value. Meaning it’s not easy to cap out. Although I’ve found some tricks to get DNA and gems faster. EDIT: ok since I brought it up and many people seem frustrated with the game taking so long to merge up here are my tricks...Once the merging slows down a tad, use money to buy the highest level creature you can. Tap out till your era is full or you’re broke. Then merge all those and you’ll get new high level creatures. Keep tapping to increase income and keep buying coin upgrades to help income. Keep buying high level creatures over and over to merge as high as you can. This is also my trick to get more gems. Every time you merge a new creature you get gems. Even after resets. 1 gem per new creature in the first era, 2 for the second era, 3 for the third and so on. You’ll notice buying creatures fast also gets you DNA. SO, keep buying high level stuff and merging and resetting as fast as you can. With this trick you can buy many gem upgrades which will not reset.I do want to let people know that when you reset, not only does the DNA help you earn more money faster, the space exploration does not reset! So once you start bringing stuff back from space (sorry for the spoiler) you keep it even through resets. What I would really like to see is two things. First, I don’t like the ability to swipe up or down to different eras. The buttons on the side are plenty easy enough and I find that I accidentally swipe to a different era when I don’t want to. When you have a full era and you want to merge a lot quickly it just gets annoying when you accidentally switch eras. And second, I want a menu or list that shows the different generations of alien creatures. Once I’ve researched them they only show the highest level.I noticed some people complained about the evolution stages. This isn’t meant to be educational or factual, just fun. I think that’s all for now. Can’t wait to see another big update to expand the game further!

Merge Evolution is a cute game for smaller kids! I do not know how it would go over with older kids/adults... but for young kids, it’s great! There are very cute “characters” but there is a LOT of extra tapping. (You tap the “characters” to get more coins)...so for me, it’s a bit much in the tapping arena. (Even though that’s the point of these games...There is already a ton of tapping..) so it’s great for showing kids how living things can evolve into other forms.. So, I rated it 4 because it is what it claims to be and it is very cute. There are tons of upgrades, etc! Although it may not be for me, as I tend to gravitate towards the ones with more action to them... Some people will love it! : ) Thanks!

The game works on a basic level; each area of history features 6 different species before a final evolution that takes you to the next level. And once you get to the Middle Ages, the game takes on three separate paths for Military, Science and Acting.The game however is slow and has a few contradictions; the level that features the primitive humans include the Aztecs, the Norse (Vikings) and the Ancient Greeks, who were all far more developed to be primitive.I only got as far as the Scientific path before running into its third evolutionary character Christopher Columbus, an infamous slaver, mass murder and tyrant on the scale of Hitler and Stalin. That, and his contribution to history really isn’t scientific. It would rather be on the war path. And the jump between Archimedes and Columbus skips over various mathematicians and scientists who are more deserving like Al Tusi, Copernicus, Vesalius and many more.The game also utilizes micro transactions and commercials which can range for either a minor annoyance to some and gateway to gambling for others. In summation; It was fun while it lasted.

I love this game. It is so fun so it deserves a five star. and if it’s not a five star, then I don’t know what is. It’s just like the best game in the world and it tells you when ads pop up and if that’s not good enough then oh my gosh, do you even like games?
