Introducing the Acaia Updater
The Acaia Updater app combines the Pearl 2021, Pearl Model S, Lunar, Orion, Cinco, Pyxis, Orion, Orbit, Ion Beam, Horizon, Cosmo updaters through one interface. The original Pearl Updater will be kept online as the Pearl scale connection is different from that of the Lunar and other models. We will update both apps as we release new firmware updates.
The Acaia Updater app will display and download all current firmware and information for the above models, including firmware version and release notes.

It works, connected with the scale and updated without issues. I don’t understand why they need a separate app for that though. Why do they need three apps instead of one app with all the functions from the three apps. Doesn’t make sense.

I don’t quite get why people are ranking this app poorly. Some of the reviews are about people disliking the scale because it’s too complex. But, like, it’s a commercial scale. Also, that doesn’t really have much to do with the app.The app is great. It does what it says it does with no frills and no nonsense. The best type of app. My only wish is that I could customize the scale using this same app.

I was worried by the other reviews, especially the more recent ones, but I have not experienced a crash yet and was able to update the firmware for my Lunar in less than 5 minutes. It was painless.

I’ve been trying to update my scale because it was bricked. I have been trying for two weeks. I finally decided to delete the app and reinstall and it worked.
