Type on your computer, send text straight to iPhone. Pair on local Wi-Fi with a six-digit PIN and keep favorite phrases ready. Remoboard turns your computer browser into a keyboard for your iPhone or iPad. Type in a text field on your device from a Mac, Windows, or Linux computer on the same Wi-Fi network. No desktop app or account is required. Getting started 1. Add the Remoboard keyboard in iOS or iPadOS Settings and allow Full Access for local network access. 2. Switch to the Remoboard keyboard in any text field. Open the URL shown on the keyboard in your computer browser. 3. If PIN pairing is enabled (on by default), enter the six-digit code shown on the keyboard, then start typing. Features • Smoother Chinese and other composed text input. • Automatic reconnection and clear connection status. • Reusable phrases for text you type often. • Browser controls for text entry and clipboard actions. • Light and dark appearance, with support for 10 languages. Both devices must be on the same local network. Full Access lets the keyboard serve its local page.

Such a relief to be able to avoid typing on glass Would _really_ appreciate https: and wss: support otherwise this is painfully insecure when on public wifi(the ws “key” is cute)

Although I could ping the device the Remoboard was on from another computer I was not able to connect to the server via http. Subnet matched between both computers. I even tried to connect through the browser on the same PC the Remoboard was on to eliminate access right or firewall issue. - no success. Documentation is a joke. It’s “Chinese English” and hard to decipher. Of course no support offered. I am very angry about the time I wasted.

I’ve been using this app for awhile and wondering how I ever got along without it. It is one of my most used apps on my digital devices whenever I’m on my computer. Anyone who wants to send a “long” text message will find it much easier and enjoyable to use the computer keyboard. Next just hit the “send” button in your browser screen containing the message and wirelessly it is sent to your digital device.Super cool!Thank you to the developer for this GREAT app!
