Status can now be set correctly when the app is used with an older version of Switchvox (earlier than 7.8.2).

This version lets you: - Attach image files to an internal-chat or external-SMS message. - Sort the Chat list alphabetically or by the most recent chat sessions. Some bug fixes are included: - When you start a Sangoma Meet from a contact, you're now automatically scrolled to the bottom of the screen so that you can more easily access the JOIN button. - The Contact Details pages no longer let you Chat or Meet if the contact isn't a person. - When a chat message is deleted from a user's Desktop Softphone, that message is also now immediately deleted in the mobile app.

* Place a call from anywhere in the app that you find a contact. To make calls, you also need the Sangoma Connect Mobile app. Ask your Switchvox administrator to allow use of Sangoma Connect, and then install the app on your iPhone. * Create and join audio conferences from group chats (also requires Sangoma Connect Mobile). * Status -- see and change your Switchvox Status. * Visual voicemail -- play voicemail messages. * Favorite contacts -- see the same Favorites you have in the Switchboard or on your Sangoma Desk Phone, and see their Status and phone-state (idle, or on the phone).

New Features: * A new Call icon lets you tap in the Switchvox Chat app to start a call with that contact in your Sangoma Connect Mobile app (or Switchvox Softphone, if that is the app that is installed on your mobile phone). * In the Chat session view, you can now pull down to load older messages. (Messages older than 60 days are removed from Switchvox automatically). * Internal chat messages can be formatted with *bold*, _italic_, ~strike~, `code`, ```preformatted```, >quote (this is not sent as formatted text to the receiver of an SMS message). Bug Fixes: * In the Chat list view, date and time of the most recent message is correctly indicated for each session. * Notification of unread incoming messages are now indicated within a Chat session, so that you are alerted and can navigate to a new message. * SMS messages that failed to send are now correctly reported in the chat session. * Uppercase letters no longer cause ordering problems in the Contact search results. * Chatting with someone from a Peered Switchvox now displays that person’s name correctly.

This release brings an improved chat creation UI and the ability to SMS from the mobile app (SMS-enabled DIDs required - https://support.digium.com/community/s/article/Setting-up-Switchvox-with-SIPStation-and-SMS).
