Great to try something different

I’ve been so exhausted by the forever chats on other dating apps so this seemed like a nice change. My one issue is that you’re able to plan dates 2-3 weeks out, yet reschedule the day of without penalty. I think it would be better to limit the scheduling to one week and also rescheduling should only be done 48hrs in advance of the planned date. Of course, things happen but I’ve had changes happen the day of twice now and we agreed on these dates 2 weeks ago.

Hi! Thank you for your review. We do have a cancel policy in place that in the case that someone reschedules within 24 hours, that user does not get their token back. Moreover, we also have other measures in place to prevent cancellations. It might also happen that due to users' and our partners' availability, it might not be possible to schedule a date within a week. However, this feedback was very useful and we will see if there are other measures we create to prevent multiple date changes. Thank you again!

Disappointing quality of profiles and reliability of confirmed dates

I’m already bored with this app. They say they filter to show you profiles you might like but that’s a joke. Every day I see ~10 profiles where only one or two have even bothered to answer any questions. I see some profiles where I think ‘maybe’ where I’d normally swipe right and start a convo - but rarely enough detail where I’m confident I want to commit a night of my life and pay money to meet this person face to face. Given that matching is equivalent to committing to pay to go on a date, the app should require more text responses to launch a profile. Otherwise it’s a big waste of time I’ve matched three times. Two canceled before our date and my token was refunded. One of them canceled right away, and the other less than an hour before meeting. The third match was deaf but never mentioned that in his profile. Hearing isn’t necessarily a deal-breaker for me, but it felt deceptive to me for him to leave out that detail. I feel like some people using this particular app might be using it bc they have a hard time getting to a date once the convo starts. I totally think this guy leaves out that detail bc he thinks he’s more likely to get the date without it - rather than being upfront and trying to match with the right person for him The quality of the profiles is worse than what I see on other apps - which surprised me. I thought people would try harder to really present who they are. But no such dice. Bland generic profiles and this far unreliable follow through

While we cannot control user behaviour to the fullest extent, we do have a cancellation policy in place that should prevent people from cancelling mindlessly, such as being frozen temporarily, losing tokens and badges. The point you made about mandatorily requiring people to add more prompts is a valuable point, and I will make sure to share this feedback with the team.Concerning your date who is deaf: what you are suggesting is that people with disabilities should express on their profile that they have a disability so they can find a more suitable match. Would you consider expressing on your profile that you don’t want to date people who are deaf? We don’t think you would. A bit in the same way that if somebody has a mental health condition, or is neurodivergent, do you think it should be mandatory for them to express this on their profile? We would like to offer people with disabilities a chance, just like you, to find a good connection. Don’t fix what isn’t broken

I went into this app thinking it would be better than the others. The concept is cool since you agree to a date and pay up front. Definitely incentivizes people to follow through. However in my experience (3 matches in the 3 months I've been on, going thru matches daily), it still doesn't eliminate people cancelling on you(yes all three matches agreed to date then cancelled 24-48 hrs before the date and poof the match is gone). Don't get me wrong - you get the tokens back but since the policy doesn't allow refunds to your bank and only transfer them to friends (no one I know uses this app)...you're stuck until you either uninstalling or exhausting the tokens. Oh did I mention that the matches only stay in deck every 24 hrs? (so if they don't see it/not look at app regularly - its gone). Unlike other apps like Hinge/Tinder/Bumble (with their aggressively paywalled features) - thats the caveat here. Fear not! Im still swiping in hopes that one day I'll get someone who actually follows through 😂

You’re absolutely right that our concept is designed to encourage follow-through by committing upfront, but unfortunately we can’t fully eliminate cancellations: sometimes life just gets in the way. Refunds can be done according to our policy, and you can request these by contacting our support team. That said, tokens never expire and can also be shared with friends (though we understand that’s not always useful if your circle isn’t on the app yet). As for matches disappearing, we intentionally refresh every 24 hours to keep things moving and avoid clutter, but we know this can feel tough if someone doesn’t check in regularly. Your feedback about flexibility and reliability is really valuable, and we’ll pass it along to our product team as we continue improving.
