◆ Subscriptions:
MyFitCoach is available for free download. To use the app, an active subscription is required, available monthly, quarterly, or annually. Subscribers will be charged for the selected period after purchase.
The charge will be made after purchase confirmation through your iTunes account. The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period.
Subscriptions can be managed in iTunes account settings and auto-renewal can be turned off. There will be no refunds for any unused portion of the term. Any unused portion of a free trial period (if offered) will be forfeited when a subscription is purchased.

I had never lifted weights until I got this app and I have been using the app for just over a year now. I increased from 3 to 4 days with a push/pull format and I’ve really gotten into it! I’ve done a body recomp with a 500 cal deficit a tracking (separate app) and lost about 30lbs, in a healthy BMI and I feel stronger then ever with actual muscle definition. The demos of how to do things are really helpful and it provides a focus for what to do and how to increase weight/reps each week. I have had to customize workouts more specific to hypertrophy myself (using ChatGPT to analyze the workouts provided) because some muscles weren’t included (chest, lats, calves, etc) but it’s evolved to meet my needs perfectly. There are a few machines missing from planet fitness and a few quirks with occasional super high reps and pausing music (works better when I have my Apple Watch on even though the watch app doesn’t work well at all) so hope those get fixed but all minor in the scheme of things! A huge help on a fitness journey!

The app is useful even if you have some basic knowledge in strength training. It helped me gain confidence in how to use many machines at the gym that I was afraid to use for safety reasons or just because I didn’t want to look like a fool 🤣. It also gives you different options to replace an exercise. It will take you a couple of sessions to get in pace because you have to input weight for the first time on every exercise, but don’t give up!! The training program they create works! I had questions in the past and the answer very nicely and fairly fast. I would improve only one thing, and that is that I wish I could see the illustrated motion of the exercise from different angles instead of just one view. (Front, side, back). For some exercises, one side view of the complete motion is not enough to understand completely how to do it. Other than that, this app is worth every penny.

Have been really enjoying the app as of recently but have asked it to focus on quads, and hamstrings which should as it says make those workouts first in the order that I do but I keep getting arm workouts. I enjoy arm workouts as much as legs but much prefer working out legs and is getting annoying when I keep getting arm workouts for the most part with a few leg workouts thrown in. Plus as I’ve seen others have pointed out sometimes when you replace a workout permanently it will not remember that I replaced it and will have to constantly keep replacing it which is annoying. Other than that though I have been enjoying the app and how it’s helped me keep track of everything. But because of the muscle focus not focusing on the muscle groups I’ve specified I will definitely have to remove a star and if it doesn’t change will probably change my review from 4-3. But if by next week or the next it starts doing more legs esc I’ll prob stay at 4 and wait to see if it stays that way or not.

When your training plan in the MyFitCoach app is at the time limit, it means that MyFitCoach would like to incorporate more volume, exercises, and sets into your plan. However, this is counterbalanced by the number of training days and Workout Duration that you have set. To tailor the plan optimally to your needs, you can increase the number of training days or the duration.
