The whole layout and flexibility around the app is 2017ish. But thats not what’s important. 2 star is for the number of restaurant/cafe options they have. But lately orders keep getting extremely slow (more than an hour and a half per order). Avas Food is no longer providing the services they were good at.

The app doesn’t allow ordering from multiple restaurants. If you search something and have to go back to the previous screen, it takes you all the way back to the main screen. App is generally okay, and can be used with inconveniences. It’s the service that is absolutely terrible. They will take hours to deliver the food. When it is delivered, there’s no standard. All the food might be dumped into a paper bag or food might be leaking into the main shopping bag. I ordered two or three items on many occasions and all of those orders were packed into one packaging on multiple times. My last order of a coffee and a pancake was smashed into each other and delivered as a blob of food. Generally, it’s a terrible service and not worth using. Most restaurants do free deliveries now. Just order directly and avoid the delivery charges that this app is charging you.

The app works great and the service is fantastic. Thanks Avas Food team for the good work. Here are some Suggestions for improvement of the app to improve the application experience.-the application loading time can be better. (It had been improved since last update)-application aspect ratio can be better adapted to screens with taller aspect rations and have notch support.- need the delivery progress bar to update with more accuracy, right now a-lot of times the progress bar for an already delivered item is still incomplete.- add high quality photos to the dishes in the menu. -when adding an item to cart, allow items from multiple restaurants to be added to cart.-how about a page for each dish with more information regarding that item, like an add to cart page with a public ratings & review section. -Personalized recommendations? For each customer based on previous orders?-also when issuing an update it would be cool if you provide the details of improvement in the update description Thanks again for the awesome service!

I have used the app a few times and every time it takes around 2-3 hours for the food to be delivered, the app name says its ‘avas’ meaning fast in dhivehi, which is a big lie. They should change the app’s name to ‘las food’ meaning slow food providers! Very much disappointed!
