Looks good but there are somethings that should be addressed. For one signup put a space at the end of my name then had error stating “letters only” and clicking create does not pop up an error saying what’s wrong. Maybe use a method to remove spaces from input, and put better validation notices for the user. It’s clear this app wasn’t tested for different sized phone screens. Some words get cut off from my phone (iPhone 6), most likely you are styling containers based on set pixels and not percentages in the css. The icons on the bottom don’t say what page they route to, I really had no idea what icons route to what page, it’s unclear. Lastly, although this isn’t a UX/UI issue, some prices are outrageously high. You can get much better prices for the same cgc slabs elsewhere. Other than that it’s a solid app, but I feel it does need improvements and more testing on different screen sizes, I would suggest not making things hard coded in size but rather dynamic. Hint hint media queries and percentage styling via css.Edit: another issue I found is that when you click an image to see a bigger size, it blows up larger than what my screen will allow, however when I go to shrink the image a bit it just exits the image - it doesn’t stay at the size I would like to better examine the slabs. The image does allow me to move it around but then it redirects back to center rather than staying where I left it. It makes it hard to examine the slab..Edit: dev response deserves a five star, cant wait to see how this app grows

I’m an active comic collector, I buy and sell comics on a regular basis. I’ve used almost all the online platforms for this hobby, from eBay to Craigslist, from Facebook Marketplace to Instagram. Those platforms are all generic in that they were made to sell anything.Shortboxed is different. Shortboxed is better. It was developed by comic collectors for comic collectors. Their passion shows in the details. The app is a pleasure to use. It’s clean, intuitive and convenient. There are filters to help you find what your are looking for. They have a “Make an Offer” option. There are great original content in the form of articles and also collector spotlight interviews. Did I mention the Deal of the Day feature? Yeah, even bargain hunters can score amazing deals in graded books via the Deal of the Day.Buying is a breeze. And selling is pretty simple too. I’ve done both on the app. It’s the most enjoyable and trustworthy comic buying and selling platform I have used. What I love the most though, is the sense of community that they are building. Comic collectors share a “magnificent obsession”. The Shortboxed app understands this and delivers a magnificent experience. I look forward to seeing how the app will grow over time.-OhManComics

I’ve been collecting comics for a very long time and is one of two online marketplaces I participate in and trust. The Shortboxed comic book collecting app was created by comic book collectors, and it shows. It’s the only way for me to buy and sell my books. It instills trust and provides collectors the safest way to participate in this wonderful hobby via the internet. It has been the closest experience to going to your favorite neighborhood shop, where the books are the centerpiece of it all and the experience is immediately welcoming and personal. That’s a testament to the clean UX design and periodic spotlights of their employees. The staff is quite accessible as well and are always available to answer questions and help to make a deal happen! They resolve any issues immediately, and make sure the buyer and seller are accountability and protected throughout process. It has been a breathe of fresh air! Other marketplaces like FeeBay are cold, rigid, impersonal, and wallet-crushing with their nickel and diming tactics. You always feel like you are buying comics out of a trunk in a Walmart parking lot at 2 a.m. and you’re about to get scammed somehow. The final straw was when FeeBay took money out of my checking account 2 months after a transaction was terminated for additional shipping fees that the fraudulent seller couldn’t cover because they were long gone — they took my money without my consent to cover it! On FeeBay, there’s no sense of loyalty, understanding or respect for the hobby, and the fact that you can’t interact with a human being ever to resolve issues has made me ignore the Dreaded marketplace completely. Shortboxed is one of the most human comic book collectors app — simple, secure, welcoming, aesthetically pleasing, and passionate about the hobby and it’s customers. Thank you Shortboxed for existing!!!

Been using ShortBoxed for selling and buying. The ease of use and always innovating the platform by the creators who are collectors themselves. If you follow them on social media they have clear intention in building a platform to sell and purchase safely. I like the good deal feature on a listed book. It’s either a green dot next to the listing to showcase the books listing price is below current sold prices. And they just released an update where you can buy and sell raw books now!! That’s great news. I do love slabbed books but I’m a little old school in owning raw books (not certified rating by a third party and encased in a sealed plastic). So I’m definitely be looking forward to this update!! And their comic convention was awesome!! It was held in Silicon Valley, California and had just comic books. For us oldies that appreciate more comics to choose from than nowadays at conventions when comics have to compete with cosplayers, cards, toys. I just love an old school comic convention!
