Prior to using the app, the provided physical remote worked just fine. Now the remote and this app indicate a different color than being lit on the light bar. The remote’s orange button now produces a green shade. The remote’s light green shows a purple variant. There doesn’t seem to be a way to factory reset the lights. The app’s color wheel has to be turned to greenish hue to see the orange. Even that doesn’t match. I assume the Bluetooth connection had somehow updated the configuration of the lights to mess this up. Please fix.

It’s great except for the fact that you can’t create your own scene with custom colors & can basically only use one custom color at a time. The lights clearly have the ability to be changed individually based on the scenes that are already created & based on the fact that you can change all of the lights to a custom color in a static manner, shows that all of them can be a custom color and it shouldn’t have to be a static setting. But it won’t even let me use multiple colors in a static manner. That’s literally the only reason I bought them was to create my own with my 4 favorite colors all at once, at least to have them all static. Why are we only able to choose one custom color to be static at a time? Please give us some kind of update or a tutorial on how to use 4 custom colors at once even if they’re static.

Unless I just can’t find it, lights need a timer. Different than a scheduled time to turn on and off. It needs a set auto turn-off function, like 3 hours or 6 hours. If I leave my lights on while at work or running errands I worry that the house will catch fire. And the only multi-color option has lights that change pretty quickly. The slowest option is too fast. There should be a static multicolor option. Other than that the app works and has fun options. I don’t use the music or mic option. I’m glad I found lights that plug in because the battery kind ate batteries too quick.

I got these instead of Govee because they were a little less expensive and I was lighting my desk at work, but I recently moved to strictly wfh and decided to use these to backlight my head board. now I want to add more lights to the bottom of my bed and I wish I had just shilled out for the Govee ones. Govee let’s you program segments and make custom presets, this app does not allow that, which is fine if you just wanted a basic rainbow flow but I have some really pretty custom presets with govee that I wanted to use in my room. I don’t think i’ll buy these again. I did give three stars because if you just wanted a nice rainbow backlight it works fine.
