The ZEPHYRx Breathe Easy app enables patients to perform spirometry remotely anytime, anywhere with results sent to their provider in real-time. The ZEPHYRx Breathe Easy app is very intuitive and easy to use with step-by-step instructions and motivational messages throughout your spirometry test. It connects to a personal spirometer via Bluetooth, captures test results and sends that data to a secure, web-based provider dashboard in real-time. Breathe Easy offers key features like spirometry task reminders, built-in video call enabling your provider to coach you through your test, and eight breathing exercise games. Patients face many roadblocks to accessing care: transportation, cost, distance to travel, taking time off from work, unnecessary exposure to pathogens, and quite simply – the inconvenience. i do love this app. i have cystic fibrosis and my doctors use this to keep track of my respiratory health. i do see some improvements that could be made. firstly, the device has a very difficult time connecting to my phone via bluetooth. although this could simply be an issue with my phone and not the app or device directly, this still needs to be said for obvious reasons. secondly, the exhale time is much too long. although i’ve seen previous comments about improvements being made toward the end of the year, i wanted to reiterate this issue as it seems to be quite common. lastly, i do wish there were customizable features, such as goals, reminders, and even colors and sounds within the app. a widget would also be very useful. all in all, i do enjoy having this app and i love being able to know my lung function at any time. thank you for creating this amazing and useful app. 💜💜

As far as the bluetooth issue, this is typically related to a phone setting or other interfering devices in the area, although we understand that connection issues can be frustrating and would be glad to speak with you for troubleshooting. In regards to the long exhale, we drive users to ATS standards (Plateau) but want to make you aware that that you may finish your exhale and complete the final inhale at any time. You're not required to wait for the final prompt and we will record both the exhale and inhale. Lastly, you make some great recommendations for additional features and we are actively working on gamification and reminders/notifications, expect some of these features to come out over the summer. I have cf and this app is very very nice it helped me realize that I have the rhino virus and I went to the hospital just in time this up is a lifesaver but it is really big file the big file thing is my only issue I would give it 5 stars if the file wasn’t that big - overall a very good app

It is difficult to breathe out for the time required. I had to breathe in during one test and it may have messed up my results. Overall this is a great app and device. I am happy that my CF team can keep up with my health during Covid.
