Maximising profit and satisfying the board will require planning. In each city, utilise suspiciously* empty locations and create an inescapable maze of retail opportunities the masses simply won’t be able to refuse!
*not suspicious at all
-- Spend
Those stores aren’t gonna build themselves*! Make sure to prioritise your earning potential by managing your budget: buy the right stores in the right locations at the right price.
*Self-building stores coming in [Unobtainable Release Date Here]!

Once you build it, they will come. And keep coming! But it’ll take more than one location to satisfy the Board’s exponential profiteering*. Combine locations and store types to really take them for all they’re worth and open up exciting new opportunities around the world!

Game directions are minimal, which is maybe the intention? It’s very vague how to succeed other than trial and error. There is a lot of data to analyze but it’s presented poorly and up to the player to figure out how to advantage it. Trial and error seems to work just as well. The main advice I have for the creators is KILL THE INTRO. Having to wait through what seems like eons for the game to load is ridiculous when it’s such a simple game, it shouldn’t need that much time. Also, the game reset several times and I had to replay the tutorial (super slow and annoying) and the first couple levels multiple times.I was drawn in by the idea but so far have been disappointed by the execution. The Board is interviewing new programmers!

A clever tower defense game
AnnoyedButNotHungry
This is a stylistic tower defense-style game with humorous writing and jazzy music. You build stores to attract shoppers with the goal to make them spend all their money before leaving town. It seems simple enough, but many maps take careful planning and/or desperate trial & error. Sometimes a few small tweaks will put you over the “win” threshold, but other times you have to go back to the drawing board and start from scratch. They have built-in tips to help you figure it out, but it’s more fun to try and figure it out on your own. Excellent game, check it out!
Developer Response
Thank you for your review. Glad you like it! :-)
Great time management puzzle game
Suivette
Almost a minimalist puzzle with funny writing text and a learning curve. Once you figure out the pace of the “Dupes” and the capacity and speed of the stores, you got it!
- Whether you say ‘color’ or ‘colour’ we’ve got you covered: you can now choose between UK English and US English.
- Unity engine vulnerability has been patched for improved security.
