A fast Korean keyboard that learns your words. See the next word before you type it, get live English as you go, and write Hangul by hand. Great for learners too.
DeepPad is a Korean keyboard that learns the way you write.
It looks and works just like the iPhone keyboard, so there is nothing new to learn. The difference is inside.
■ Fast first
Letters go in the moment you touch a key. Whatever else the keyboard does, typing speed comes first.
■ The next word, before you type it
Three likely next words sit right above the keys. Whether to take one is up to you.
Slipped onto the key next to it? DeepPad works out what you meant and still shows what comes next.
It even understands Hangul mid-syllable, when a final consonant is about to move to the next character.
■ Learns your words
It remembers the words you use, the order you put them in, and the words you have corrected, and suggests those first.
Names and slang that no dictionary knows become your words after you type them twice.
See everything it has learned in the app's Typing Report, and delete any of it, or all of it, any time.
■ Stops typos as you type, changes text only when you tap
· The key you press lights up clearly, so you notice a one-key slip right away.
· It learns where your thumb lands and adjusts key edges slightly.
· Keys you often miss feel slightly different under your finger.
No silent autocorrect. Your words change only when you tap.
■ English right there
Live Korean ↔ English translation appears above the next words as you type. Type Korean to see English, type English to see Korean.
Tap to use it, or just read along.
Translation runs on your device with Apple's translation engine. Download the language pack once and it works offline.
■ Learning Korean?
· Draw Hangul by hand. No need to know the layout yet. On-device AI reads Korean, English, numbers and symbols.
· Type English and see it in Korean as you go.
· Practice right in the app.
■ Three more ways in
· Handwriting: write straight on the keyboard.
· Voice: tap the mic, speak Korean, get text.
· Camera: point at text on paper or a screen and bring it in.
■ Practice that teaches the keyboard
· Next Word Guess: reply to a friend's message. If the keyboard already had your word, that is telepathy. If not, it learns it on the spot. Five cards and your real keyboard already feels different.
· English Speaking: see a Korean sentence, answer in English by voice or typing.
· Case Deduction: solve a mystery with yes-or-no questions.
■ Your words stay on your phone
Everything the keyboard does, next words, translation, handwriting and learning, happens on your device. Nothing goes to our servers.
In password and number fields it shows nothing and learns nothing.
Only practice mode uses Apple's Private Cloud Compute: judging answers and writing cases in Case Deduction, and one word of context when writing the friend's message in Next Word Guess. Apple does not store it.
* Haptics need Allow Full Access in Settings.
* Case Deduction needs a device with Apple Intelligence turned on. English Speaking and Next Word Guess work without it, and write fresh sentences when it is on.
I cannot use cursive. I have to write one letter at a time and then wait until it processes it until I can write another one. Will be deleting.
- Fixed issues that could cause the app to crash.
- Improved overall stability and performance.
