Get a step-by-step personalized lawn care plan and recommendations based on your specific soil and geographic location. “What to throw down, and when to throw it down” plus a fertilizer calculator, journal to track your progress, lawn segmentation and measuring.

Here are some of the primary features of this lawn care app:
You get a custom lawn journal where you can track your lawn tasks along with when and what products you applied to your lawn. You can also upload photos to track the before and after progress and set reminders for yourself so you don’t miss upcoming tasks.

Makes lawn care fun!

I really enjoy taking care of my yard and this app is a big reason why. There are so many lawn products and maintenance plans available that it’s difficult for the average DIYer to figure things out. I used to hire professionals, but now with guidance I am comfortable doing it on my own.

I have a few suggestions to improve the app. It would great to have a calculator built in that would give you the quantities of product you need based on ounces or pounds per square foot. For example, if you needed 3 ounces per 1000 square foot, you could input the square footage and the app would give you how many ounces or milliliters you need. The calculator could be manual or even better it could be calculated automatically when a user taps “complete this step.”

Also, it would be nice to have the ability to submit questions to a forum. I have questions at times but don’t have a place to ask. One thing I wonder is that I have a large yard but don’t have money to install an irrigation system and the water pressure where I live is too low to set up multiple sprinklers. Am I wasting money fertilizing when I know my grass will brown up and go dormant during a hot summer?

Just a few ideas for you to consider, but overall a great app.

More tabs

I really do enjoy the idea behind this app, a calendar tab on the bottom would be useful so that you could actually see the days laid out instead of just saying you have X amount of days til the next app. Also adding in over seeding in the journal portion, you would just to have they type of seed thrown down. Watering times and days would also be helpful so you remember what days your watering, if it rained, if you changed the length of watering time due to drought conditions. Mowing schedule would be awesome as well, and all these come back to the calendar tab which you could access and see all of your info everyday. Just designate colored dots or lines or something for each ex: green=mow; blue=watering; yellow=fert; red=weed killer; etc. then you choose a day and it pulls up what’s going on or what is scheduled for that day.

Another feature that would be nice is to be able to have separate sections of your lawn. Like the front and back yard, or side yard. For example if you put down grass seed in your side lawn and did not in your front lawn but did fertilize the front the same day you seeded. The next up tile would be different times for each section.

Vickmitt,

Thank you for the review and feedback, it is very valuable. What is so cool is that most everything you said is actually on our current roadmap! Please continue to leave us feedback so we can make the app better!

Almost awesome.

Very promising app. Like the other reviewer I would like to edit the main home screen task completed date as well. You can edit the journal dates but it saves whatever day you open the app and tap done on the alert pop up. For example I clicked done on April 8th so now the home screen says I put down pre emergent on April 8th when in my actual journal I put down pre em on Feb 16th. Additionally dates in the journal are listed in the order you entered them. Would be great if you never forget to put something in your journal or like me you download it after you have already done several apps and try to log them for reference. My journals order is now April, Feb, March. Would be nice to have them refresh in order. Lastly I would like to be able to choose what picture shows as the thumbnail in the journal list. I uploaded multiple photos per entry but no control over what the thumbnail is. Overall great start. Needs some tweaks though.

Thank you so much for this feedback! Keep your eyes out for a new version coming soon! We are currently working on enhancements on our journal and next application card functionality. This upcoming functionality will address most of your concerns. Thank you for being a beta user! Until that functionality is released you can go and backdate any journal entry to a given day whether that journal entry was put in using the next application card feature or from within the journal itself.
