The most relevant helpers are often people you trust and who are close by. Connect with others in SafeNow groups and decide for yourself who should get your alarm in case of emergency.
LOCATION SHARING WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Sometimes you just want to know the people close to you are okay. With Location Sharing, you can see your groups on the map in everyday life - not just in emergencies. For each group, decide whether your location is private, always visible in real time, or visible on demand. With On Demand, you'll be notified whenever someone looks, so nothing happens behind your back.
PUSH THE BUTTON WHEN YOU NEED HELP
Press and hold the SafeNow button when you feel uncomfortable. As long as you keep your finger on the button, SafeNow is active. If your finger leaves the screen, an alarm is triggered immediately. You can disarm the button at any time if you are fine again.
DON'T MISS WHEN IT REALLY MATTERS (ALWAYS-LOUD MODE)
We often miss calls and messages because we are too busy or don't know that they are truly important. As one of the few apps selected by Apple, SafeNow can play a loud sound even when your phone is silent or on "do not disturb”. By using "always-loud mode” you don’t miss an alarm when it's really important.
REACH PROFESSIONAL HELPERS IN SAFENOW ZONES
Within a public SafeNow Zone, you can reach professional helpers on site. The app automatically displays when you're in a SafeNow Zone and tells you if helpers are available.
SafeNow Zones are provided by companies and institutions to make their venues safer for their guests.
SafeNow allows to protect areas that are usually difficult or impossible to monitor (such as restrooms or hotel rooms) can be covered.

Your data will only be used to enable your helpers to better find you. Your location is exclusively shared with your helpers during alarms. We don't run ads nor make money off your personal data. Instead, SafeNow is funded by public SafeNow Zone providers who care about offering their guests a safe feeling across their venue.

When you end an alarm, you're now asked to add a quick reason, so the people helping you know what happened and whether you're safe.
