The StoryTourist app makes all this possible by offering self-guided walking tours based on famous stories. When you embark on a StoryTour, you will experience the narrative in the very spot where the action takes place. The app uses GPS to guide you from one place to another, and once you get there an interaction will be triggered to pop up on your mobile phone screen. Depending on the story, it can be anything from old images of what this spot used to look like, to sounds, puzzles or animations that will tie reality and story together.
Through the StoryTourist app you will be able to find out what your favourite fictional places look, smell and sound like.

Download the StoryTourist app, select a story in the city you are in and start your adventure! The app guides you in the right direction and when you reach the various storypoints, the part of the narrative that is set in that location will be unlocked. In other words, you will have one foot in the story and the other in reality.
The app requires GPS to work. For the best possible listening experience, bring headphones.
