Fitness Stats is a delightful app that quickly aggregates your activity and workout data for insights.
Fitness Stats calculates totals and averages across any date range for the data in the Health app on your iPhone. You can easily compare these stats across two different date ranges as well. Its super simple to quickly answer questions like:
• How many steps did I walk during that fun trip to Italy?
• Did I burn enough calories during the Holidays?
• Am I working out less or more every day this year?
Key Features:
• Totals & Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Averages for every supported data type.
• Compare stats across two different date ranges side by side.
• Dedicated Today tab to not have to change dates every day.
• Tap & expand any stat row to quickly compare stats for the current week, month, and year with the last 7, 30, and 365 days.
• Quickly change the dates for the stats from a custom date range to one of the many preset options like Lifetime, Last 7 days, a specific year, or a month.
Stats are calculated for the following data categories from the Health app on your iPhone:
• Activity: calories, exercise time, steps, flights.
• Moving distance: walking, hiking, running, cycling, swimming.
• Workouts: running, hiking, cycling, rowing, elliptical, HIIT, pilates, strength training.
• Mind & Body Wellness: yoga and meditation.
• Sports: tennis, basketball, soccer.
• Please reach out if you don't see any data types you want to track.

My goal is to make great apps for you, not track you or sell your private, personal information. All Indie apps are built and designed with utmost care to be as private as possible. Fitness Stats performs real-time calculations on data in the Health app on your iPhone. Your data is only used in the app and never shared with other apps, services, or networks.
As someone who is just at the beginning of a new health journey, it’s really cool to just have a very simple slick, well designed app to show me my overall stats. It really helps me see where I’ve made progress and where I could do better. And it has a great visual design that I can post and share without having to make graphic edits to make it look aesthetically pleasing. The only thing I wish is that it had the option to add or remove categories. There are some stats I don’t really use or care about and it’d be nice to be able to remove those so I only see and share what I care about in my progress. I think the app would be super helpful too if you’re working with a doctor or dietician to show breakdowns of your workout data.
Not good as I thought.

The only real i formation i wanted was daily, weekly, monthly totals. Not averages. Thats useless for me because health app already doea that. Its redundant information. There are three categories featured on app are… , various averages/lifespan of phone total (useless, only total it shows is lifespan-useless), compare (useful because it has totals, but no daily total) and settings. It shows active calories, great but it doesn’t rested calories. Thats lame, since most calories burnt is rested vs active. The categories that span in vertically, cant be organized. So you will have to scroll down every single time to look at one or two categories you truly wanna see. Lets me real about this, we got this because health app on iPhone doesn’t do totals. This sorta hits the spot but doesn’t run with it. Glad it really drives to tell you your info is protected. But that shouldn’t be the # 1 reason why we get this. We get this because we want the app to do what we want.

Hi, this is great feedback. I will add total calories, daily/weekly/monthly totals and organizing the rows to my list. Btw, you can also change the date range for the totals from lifetime to any dates: tap on the blue date text in the top header bar for the dates picker screen. Thanks.
Fills a much needed gap

I bought Fitness Stats after trying Tempo and being blown away with the quality. Fitness Stats really takes the best of Apple Health and Fitness and makes a killer app. It’s well worth the 5 dollars. The UI is clean and easy to follow. The use of blue text to indicate buttons like the rest of the OS is greatly appreciated and unfortunately not always well done in other places. It all feels like an extension of what Apple offers you. Keep up the fantastic work.
If you want to have a paid version, you have to make sure people like the free version first

This app was kind of a background app for me. I checked it some months just out of curiosity to see how many steps I had taken that much. I was really disappointed to see that this view is no longer an option on the free version of the app. I understand the developers passion to improve the app and keep it running, but I think you may have misjudged your audience. I was completely fine with a rudimentary date picker and regaining that function is not worth $3 for me. Most apps have a fairly functional free version as well as an upgraded, innovative paid version. But the free version is mostly useless now. It was fun while it lasted though!

Hi Aednat416, you are right—the app did change the business model from free to paid. It was built as a side project and stayed that way with minimal changes for 2+ years. But because so many folks liked it and wanted more, I added more to it, which turned into requiring full-time effort. I am glad to hear you enjoyed the app while it was free, but you are right again that it's not meant for you anymore. I respect that, and it's your money. Be well! ✌️
