I honestly had my doubts about this app when I first got it. And I personally don’t really write reviews so I think it’s safe to say this app blew my mind. I get all my meal prep recipes off Instagram, I used to save them right on instagram along with everything else I found interesting, so needless to say all my recipes got lost immediately. With this app, all my stuff is in one spot, and the fact that there are step by step instructions? AMAZING. I’m so thankful that feature is included in the free version, I don’t have the money for premium personally but if you’re able to shell out the money I would recommend it. You can track your macros which will only help you with your weight goals. Overall 10/10 app, I’m so thankful, I’m actually making the viral meals I see online and developing a more diverse personal menu. Thank you!!

Still a great app, minor feature/fix requests

I do love this app! A couple things keep shifting - it seems like there’s been only one release where the “send to Stashcook” and “stash from a copied URL” feature both worked (although Send often crashed, so I’m happy to have the Copied URL stash feature back). And, the latest release doesn’t remember your prior sort from the Home Screen - which I’m sad about because it was my way of coping with crashes from the Send feature. I have one main feature wish, though, that I hope is on the back burner: the ability to print or PDF recipes, especially (but not only) personal recipes. I put a bunch in here only then threw out the paper, and I’m having some regrets on that. It’s much nicer to know a family recipe is safe in print if something ever happens to me, you know?

I am in love with Stashcook! I was complaining to a friend that I had lost motivation to cook recently and never seem to remember my husband’s favorite dishes when he says “I love this one. Please make this again” and I think okay, sure thing. Then time goes by and I’m flipping though cookbooks or searching online and nothing sounds very inspiring and I can’t recall which ones he loved. It seems like it would be easy to remember things like that but with two toddlers, I need a little help. She told me about Stashcook and wow what a game changer this app is! It has given me a whole new motivation for cooking and I am forever thankful. The grocery list feature is fantastic and I’ve been telling all my girlfriends about it! Thank you!!

I recommend this app over having a ton of physical books where you only use a few recipes. My go to over books when meal planning. I use the free version for now. I intend to pay the small amount for family sharing in near future. I love that you can edit saved recipes where I had tips or remove items/substitute within ingredients. I love the search option & delete option when I saved same recipe more than once. I love I can add my own recipes. Easy to use. Not sure if it’s an option but someday I’d love to have my treasures made into my own favorite recipe book! Thank you for such a great app with no issues!
