I tried to do this in store, which your app said was an option, to do cashback in store by entering the purchase amount in app and paying for it that way. It didn’t work, I thought whatever, can’t do the cash back option, I’ll just pay normal. The pop up had told me the payment could not process and would not be able to go through. I pay with my normal card. Weeks later I start to get multiple attempts of you guys trying to take out that amount. I then submit a request to delete my account in my data because this is fraudulent charges that you are trying to put on my card, explain what happened and whats happening, and you never get back to me. Why do you have an option to request deleting your account on your app if you don’t respond back and don’t close the account? Why do you still have my card info saved, yet apparently it is nowhere on the app and there’s no option for me to remove it. Genuinely if this does not get resolved, I will report you to the Better Business Bureau, it will give you whiplash. do better.

I tried to do this in store, which your app said was an option, to do cashback in store by entering the purchase amount in app and paying for it that way. Charged my card without authorization…

-And then refused to refund it. I informed them that I did not authorize the charge and that I didn’t even know what their app is. Their response was: As a StoreCash user, you were charged the annual fee of $24 for the app, We would like to inform you that we only charge the subscription fee after receiving your consent to be charged. As per our policies, unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds at this time. I am not a user of this app nor did I authorize the charge. Terrible. I am disputing with my bank now. -Update, the developer responded with a generic ‘contact us and we’ll help’. I did contact them and they still refused to remove the charge. That still doesn’t help. My bank however, approved the dispute of course because this app charged me without authorization and refused to refund my money. The app still gets an F. Charlatans.

I cannot believe what I just had to go through at a local Walmart US location. Knowing I wasn’t fully sure how (or if it worked), I tried a $5.00 purchase at Dunkin’ Donuts this morning. I was thoroughly impressed at this point and saw Walmart US had an extra bonus. Finding what I needed, I proceeded to checkout only be told that Walmart associates (& me, myself) are not allowed to “type-in” barcodes “if the barcode won’t scan”; thus, I was out the substantial amount of money spent for the unscannable “gift card” just purchased at the point-of-sale. How embarrassing! Fortunately, another form of payment “went-through”, but now I have nothing left thanks to this scam that calls itself “Store Cash”.
