Set waypoints and customize your map view, with available map detail and features varying by coverage and subscription. Advanced mapping offers features such as up-to-1-foot contours, enhanced aerial imagery, and shaded relief where available.

The Minn Kota® Fishing App helps bring your integrated Minn Kota® system together in one mobile experience. Access supported controls for compatible Minn Kota® trolling motors and shallow water anchors. Adjust trolling motor speed and steering, access supported GPS navigation modes including Spot-Lock®, Advanced AutoPilot®, and Drift Mode, and deploy, retract, and adjust compatible Raptor® or Talon® shallow water anchors. You can also view compatible devices integrated across your Minn Kota® system from the app.
CAPTURE AND SHARE FISH FINDER CONTENT
Save and transfer supported screenshots from compatible fish finders to your phone, making it easier to save and share what you discover on the water. Supported fish finders may also allow transfer of screen recordings.

There are many things to like about the app but a lot of issues that should be addressed to make it more useful. Fist is the lack of premium maps in some states. I’m in Weet Michigan and have 2 premium lakes within an hour. 90-95% of the lakes just have the standard contours. It’s pretty bad. Second is the lack of integration with the company’s fish finders. I have two Helix 7’s connected to the fish finder and for what? I don’t know, they’ve never talked with one another to share any information. The last 2 updates on my Helix updates to 2.8 I did both required me to put first buy a 16gb card, put it in, encrypt it, run in the house and download the file, drag it to the card, bring it to the boat, hope the finder recognizes it, then do the update. Is the next one actually supposed to be able to be done with Bluetooth? I hope so. The notice doing the update was vague. Also how about allowing the user to take some form of control the Helix graphs? We all know the interface on the graphs is awful. I have maybe half of my views hidden and the other half visible but I still am always pressing the dang view or exit button to toggle between imaging views. It’s horrible. Add a feature to the “one-boat network” that actually allows me to network with these graphs and quickly select a view vs getting down on my knees on the casting deck of the boat to beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep…….beep, beep, beep through the screens. It’s in the name. “One-Boat Network”. All the app to create a meaningful network with the graphs and quickly access features, views and settings vs putting the phone down to do the work on the graph.
Duo compatibility
Won’t work on duo
Instantly crashes on the iPhone duo. It must not be compatible with the new phone aspect ratios because going from an iPhone 17 to the duo it instantly crashes and won’t open. Paying for a map subscription here this needs to be prioritized to be fixed asap!
Developer Response
Thank you for your input. We will investigate the Apple issues related to Duo. We offer a free one month trial period of maps for anyone to ensure it works on their phone. However we realize this does not help users who upgrade their phone after they subscribed to maps.

This update introduces a new Minn Kota® experience designed to support anglers before, during, and after time on the water.
Minn Kota® Maps - including trusted LakeMaster® data, waypoint management, compatible product control, software updates, and support now come together as part of one integrated Minn Kota® system.
Your existing One-Boat Network™ functionality remains, now within the Minn Kota® Fishing App.
6.020 resolves a bug with downloading maps for offline use when using iOS 27.
