What a fun app! There is no pressure and you are provided instant feedback on your progress. Somewhere along the way, I have lost my native accent after living in a different country. I want to reclaim it and be able to switch accents at will. Recently someone made a video of me speaking and it was horrifying or hilarious, depending on my mood when rewatching! It’s time to get back to refreshing my IPA skills learned at university so pronunciation will be much more precise. Thank you for a very useful and helpful app!
Pretty good compared to others I’ve tried. But some of the words are pronounced wrong.

This is a pretty good app solid 85%. compared to the other five pronunciation apps I’ve tried… My only concern is that some of the words are pronounced wrong, so people are learning them wrong. I am a native English speaker from, I’m looking for an app that can help some of my Spanish speaker colleagues learning English. So I do know in fact that the pronunciation is wrong. It might be helpful if a human went through and corrected the mistakes for the American English version. I would love to not write this review and just message company, but there’s no way to contact anyone through the app.

I’m a native speaker of English and I’m using this app to eliminate any trace of my regionalaccent and also to learn RP, the standard British accent. I wish the app had additional accents. I need Scottish, Irish, Australian, South African, Cockney, American regional accents. Also English spoken with non-English accents like French, German, Russian. I know that this app was created for English learners but it’s very helpful for actors as well. Please add more regional databases of the 2000 basic words and also the ability to type in entire sentences not just individual words. Very easy to use and addictive.
