Great and simple (no reminders)

Please add reminder to the events, it’s the only thing you are missing. I’ll purchase the app if it’s paid just for the reminder feature. This app does the work no additional things which make it very simple and great to use. No complication no too many options just very simple and it does the job it also has a widget that is very clean.

Works well if you don’t need battery life

This dramatically reduced by battery to less than 3 hours on my M2 Max laptop. The UI is great n all but it should consume 0 battery life for what it does. Perhaps I’ll have to write my own app.

Almost Perfect

Special Dates is nearly perfect. It's one main shortcoming as I can see is that is has a limited number of date types. It doesn't allow a person to flag something as a Birthday or Holiday.

The app has no bugs, simple easy to use. Love the emoji feature and how I can place the widgets on any device, from my Mac,iPhone, and iPad.

Small improvements • New per-widget option: choose a resumed countdown (1w 3d) or plain days, independently for each widget. • Fixed the icon size in an event's context menu. • You can now also delete an event from the context menu (long-press), in addition to swipe or "Edit".
