HarmLess is a self-harm tracking app designed to help you calm your urges, track your progress, and get better over time. Created with the help of mental health professionals, we've included a number of features designed to help you cope with your pain in a healthy way.

Right from the beginning HarmLess will engage you every morning, asking you to Pledge to not hurt yourself. It will be there when you need it most, helping you process Urges in the moment. At the end of each day, it will ask you to review your day and journal about it.

This app will show you the progress you are making over time and will reward you for it with achievements. It will keep your information safe behind a passcode, as well as safe under an unsuspecting app name and icon. It will suggest activities to do based on how you are feeling and allow you to set timed goals for each one.

HarmLess will show you how long you have gone without hurting yourself and more importantly how many TOTAL days you have been self-harm free. It will show you insightful statistics, such as 'number of urges over time', or 'day difficulty over time'.

Our sincere hope is that it will be your secret weapon for coping with pain in a healthy way.

Share your accomplishments with friends and family. You deserve to be proud of every step you take, now you can share your hard-earned achievements with whoever you want. Once you earn an achievement, just tap 'Share' and share it with the world. You can also share achievements you've earned in the past from the achievements screen.

Fantastic resource!!

This the best self harm app I’ve ever seen. I see how much consideration and thought was put into every part and I’m honestly at a loss. I’m really not just saying this. I love that you can disable and enable whatever features you’re interested in whenever you want. I love how many feelings you can pick from when you are having an urge, and how the feelings are categorized. I love how many thoughtful strategies there are. I love the name and how it emphasizes the idea of harm reduction, but isn’t overt. I love how private the app is especially with the password setting enabled. It’s really good stuff! Overall, this app is stellar. Wow. As a person who is super passionate about mental health, works in mental health, and has struggled with self harm...this app has totally got me jazzed lol. I will definitely be referring people to this app if they would be interested in something like this! :D

The only problem I have is where it asks how long it has been since the last time....well it ends at day 1,000 days. I have surpased 2,000 days.

* Update so I found a way to contact the app designer and it was an awsome experience. The designer contacted me back, was very nice. If I could change the star rating to a 10 I would. I have never been conacted before on my ideas much less someone who was happy that I was beyond their time allowance. Now I have all 2,066 days accounted for. And I am still advocating for this app.

I honestly haven’t had one problem with this app, it’s simpler to find out how to redo your time if you sh again. It’s also a good way to try too stop the urge from becoming an action. It gives good breathing techniques and I like the whole password thing. That way I don’t have too worry about my mom looking at it. 10/10!!
