Pesi is my constant companion as a student of therapy, to say what they offer is a blessing is an understatement it is an incomparable resource for continued learning and professional development. I am a committed customer. PESI has great digital seminars and online courses and tons of sales that make these courses very accessible to therapists. The app works great, is very visibly appealing, and allows easy viewing of videos and other course materials/handouts. The app even allows you to download training videos for offline viewing which is invaluable. The only reason for my rating this app 4 instead of 5 stars, is that you do not have the ability to delete online courses or seminars. Because PESI offers a lot of free live trainings during their sales, it you sign up for some that you miss or later decide not to do, you are unable to delete them and it makes your dashboard incredibly cluttered and visibly to scroll through the long list of courses to find the ones you are working on, as the ones you already have completed and the free live expired courses are all on the same list.Please add a feature to delete courses or sort them into different drop downs/areas on the dashboard by active, completed, and expired.

This app is so limited in it’s function that it’s practically useless for anything other than using your i-device as a monitor for the trainings and it’s barely any good at that. There’s no option for split screen use so you can’t take notes on your iPad at the same time as you’re trying to learn. There’s no Picture in Picture so you can do the same or research something being discussed like a recommended book or website. The app itself only functions in portrait mode until you start a video making an iPad app completely disfunctional, because even when you start the video it always starts in portrait and mini. It has to be forced into full-screen mode to start working in landscape. I’ve had the download option erase the content by itself multiple times. You can’t search or purchase trainings from the app. The fact that I need it because PESI is one of the largest training providers makes me angry every time I open it. I’d rather it be a paid app and be good than free and feel like it’s actually hindering my learning as much as it’s helping.

I’m very impressed by the content I’ve been viewing, but the app I’m viewing it in is frustrating, to say the least. First, it’s an app…a mobile app - which means you should be able to easily view the content in landscape mode since, well, content on mobile devices is better viewed that way. Fail. Second, it’s a mobile app - which means people using it are most likely not sitting at a desk, they are…mobile…and have more frequent interruptions that require pausing the content and easily resuming it at the same spot later one. Fail. Third, I except that the quiz I’m required to take to obtain a certificate is on the material I just viewed. Fail. Fourth, when I enter my license number for CE reporting, verify its accuracy three times, I expect to receive the emailed certificate with my accurate license number on it. Fail.
