Simple with a caveat

It’s simple and it does what it advertises. It doesn’t ask for extra permissions, and it works fine if you only allow permissions to the specific health feature you care about. Exactly what I needed: a step counter widget with no frills. Unfortunately, you have to launch the app for the counter to update. There is no option to refresh the counter solely from the widget itself. Tapping the widget launches the full app, which then refreshes the counter. On occasion, it uses this as an opportunity to display a full screen advertisement. Slightly annoying, but the widget looks good and the app was free.

A Wandering Analyst
Works well, however, the options are limited. Information always displays as the weeks average with no way to show todays data. A fully developed version of this app would be a fantastic addition to really round out iOS health kpi data. Wish this application was better supported and held more options for users.

How do I make a widget? I know I’m doing it correctly but it’s not appearing. I go to edit my Home Screen, add a widget, and the option to select this app is not available on my iphone!!!! How do I get the widget to appear?!
