The alarm on iPhone now holds through the night: if your headphones fall off or disconnect, the sound switches to the phone, whether the screen is locked or not. A tip appears when you turn the option on, to help you make sure it works. The votes screen now loads instantly. Your home screen shows your city, and the weather times are shown in your local time — no more mismatch with the actual time where you are. Comments, notifications and the votes screen are now shown in your language. In a conversation, you can now edit or delete your own messages. When you leave the app, the screen goes back to the brightness you had before. Night mode and the bedside clock now share a single setting, adjusted with a swipe and kept from one night to the next. Your comments become conversations. Tap a comment: the thread opens, your messages on the right, everyone else's on the left. You are notified when someone replies, even if you never opened the thread yourself — and you can leave the notifications of a conversation that has become too busy, without silencing the app. The app's author can now write to you privately. These exchanges appear only on your device: no one else has access to them. Updating is now offered from the menu, at the top, whenever a new version is available. During your five free alarms, repeat is no longer restricted: you can set a recurring alarm without an account and without a subscription. The backup alarm now takes over ten seconds after the scheduled time, instead of a minute. And if you close iReveil while an alarm is set, a notification tells you the backup alarm will ring — reopen the app to wake up with the sound you chose. Fixes: night mode brightness is restored when you leave the app and found again when you return; a non-recurring alarm no longer re-arms after ringing; the strong password suggested by iOS now works when creating an account.

A backup alarm that actually rings • If ClockRadio could not wake you — app closed by the system, phone restarted — a backup alarm takes over shortly after the set time. • On iOS 26 and later a real system alarm handles it: it no longer depends on the app. It rings full screen, even in Silent mode and even during a Focus, like the built-in iOS alarm. Stopping it reopens ClockRadio. • Turn it on in the alarm settings, and choose how long after the set time it should fire. • When it fires while your radio is playing, it replaces it outright, at full volume.
