I’m making my content and podcasts using what I have until I can afford more tech and upgrades. Epidemic sound has made this a possibility for me. I didn’t have a clue how to find copyright safe files and such a huge selection at that. The free trial has given me the ability to at least TRY to make what I wanted to with limited resources and only 2 cell phones. This is literally what Art creating and my motivation behind producing anything at all really… access and inclusion. We shouldn’t be left out of having access to these programs and ability to create a better future for ourselves because we don’t know what tracks we can use without spending money we don’t all have at first.
So good!
scammer alert 2019
I never leave reviews but I appreciate this app. Had premium acct for over 2 years but didn’t fully use it while I was paying because I was busy with work, now I’m back and I found that even with the free account now, all my old Liked tracks are still here waiting for me. Plus you let my 4 free trial downloads stack up so that was super freakin cool. I’m focusing more on my channel now and almost monetized, and I gotta say I was a desktop user before but transitioning over to the app was seamless and very intuitive. Keep it up guys, this is the best royalty free app and well worth the cost of reinstating my acct to premium!
Decent but missing basic features
rythatoneguy
They have a great selection of music! I really enjoy their instrumental stuff. I listen to it just for leisure. It also has no ads for the free account (please keep it this way!) But the app itself is missing some basic features. No repeat/looping button, no way to submit bugs or feedback, no way to share a playlist from mobile, and the playlist will only play what’s loaded on the screen. You have to contribute to scroll down to load more songs to be visible. Also when scrolling, it will start playing whatever your finger lands on, without meaning to choose a song. It’s very obnoxious when scrolling to the bottom of a playlist. It would be a much more enjoyable app if it just had some basic ergonomic features.
Developer Response
Thanks for taking the time to spell this out, and glad the catalog is working for you. No repeat/loop, no way to report a bug from the app, no playlist sharing on mobile, and playback firing while you scroll are all fair hits — we've passed them to the team that works on the app. Until there's an in-app route for it, app-feedback@epidemicsound.com reaches us directly with bugs and feedback.
Helping me leave a legacy.
Black Onyx Alliance
Epidemic sound has helped me a lot with getting my business the right kind of vibe that it needs when I am creating. It is such blessing that the rates are not outrageous like some others and their customer care department is also amazing! My business is fairly new and I have to save everywhere I can while I Build it piece by Piece on my own so much props to Epidemic Sound being a big part of my business. The company is about to drop quite a bit of content and when it starts to take off Black Onyx Alliance will forever be grateful as the company grows.
New: Adapt track length
Turn any track in our catalogue into a shorter edit — 15s, 30s, 60s, or a custom length. Making something for a specific video? Pick the video and we'll match the edit to its duration, so the music lands with your last frame.
Preview, loop, download. Done.
