The coffee is the absolute best! The app is awful. Do yourself solid and just go in and order. I have order from the old app and new now dozens of times, various locations and not once have they ever gotten my order right on the app. Ever. It’s almost a joke at how much it’s screwed up. And of course the errors aren’t realized until it gets to me. Most of the time someone picks it up brings it. I just expect it to be wrong at this point. Please PJ’s if you have an option for “no ice” that is a whole up charge make sure your baristas are aware. One employee straight up argued that wasn’t an option in the app and would only correct it with ANOTHER up charge. If you put a place on the app for special instructions, no whip, etc please train the baristas to look at the actual order. Do not get me started on how it is IMPOSSIBLE to figure out how to apply rewards, or now I have to say my number out loud every time I go in. I much prefer my credit card number being linked or the ability to type it in myself. I just don’t like my personal stuff announced then repeated to a store full of people. I won’t stop going to PJ’s but this app is the worst!
App is Misleading
Very Misleading_App
So I ordered the special Honey Brûlée Shaken Espresso. The description says it comes served with all kinds of stuff. When I picked up my order it was just bitter coffee and absolutely nothing in it. Then the barista instead of making it right debated with me saying you have to build it to match the picture and I am charged extra to match what the description shows even though I had already paid more for the coffee because of the special. Telling me that using the app it doesn’t match what the description shows. Very misleading and I am very disappointed in the lack to make the coffee match what I ordered.
The new app is built like a desktop website, not a mobile app.

The new app is not user friendly. The drop downs are not conducive to efficiency, requiring you to close the drop down after each selection while not stating which selection is required. When it comes to logging in, why would you ask for an email when the brand has set the assumption of your account being connected to your phone number. Then when ordering food, yall couldn’t even go far enough to change the “size” tab to reflect you picking the type of sandwich. I have changed my 2 star rating to a 1 one because you are unable to place an order other than asap. You use to be able to pick a date & time, like 30 minutes out from pick up. I now have to wait till I am TEN MINUTES FROM THE SHOP before I order or my food & drink will sit. I commute to my local pjs & would rather not have to drive & place my order. This app is designed as a desktop website, not a mobile app. It needs work.
Feb 2025 update is horrible
Faline15
This new update might aesthetically look nicer but it is frustratingly awful. So. Many. Menus. Guys… why?!? In and out of categories you think go together but do not when before everything was one nice scroll neatly organized in categories. A stuffed biscuit is a pastry? We have to choose size to pick the sandwich? When we add an item it goes back to the main menu for us to have to click a million things to perhaps order another item in that area. If you start an order and decide you want to add an item you’ve ordered before in order to avoid a pile a menu clicks… you can click a million things to get back to previous orders but once you add it all the other items you added disappear. Employees report they can’t enter our phone numbers in store to earn rewards now, is it so everyone will be forced to use the most un-user friendly app ever created? Who designed this!? It’s. Obnoxious. This will drive away customers, and I go everyday. Literally everyday. If I don’t show up a barista is messaging me asking if I’m ok. Every. Single. Day. I order from PJs, for years. This app is atrocious. Please reconsider this hot mess express
We have introduced changes to improve the mobile experience for all devices running the latest OS version.
