Learn guitar chords this fall! Master new songs & improve your playing. Perfect for beginners & pros. Download now!
Learn guitar with step-by-step video lessons you can watch, pause, and replay as many times as you need.
GUIDED COURSES
Follow a course from your very first chord through to playing full songs. The lessons run in order, each one building on the last, so you always know what to practice next. Go at your own pace - nothing expires and nothing rushes you.
VIDEO LESSONS BY CATEGORY
Guitar videos are organized by technique, song type, and skill level, so you can go straight to the thing you actually want to work on. Looking for strumming patterns? Fingerstyle? A particular style of song? Pick the category and start watching.
SAVE THE LESSONS YOU ARE WORKING ON
Add any lesson to Favourites and come straight back to it tomorrow. No hunting back through the catalogue for the video you had half learned.
NEW & HOT
See the latest guitar lessons and the trending content other learners are watching right now, together in one place. Useful for when you have finished a course and want somewhere to go next.
GUITAR ARTICLES AND TIPS
Read guitar tips, tutorials, and how-to guides for the questions that come up away from the instrument: how to hold a chord cleanly, what the strings are called, why a chord buzzes, how to build a practice routine that actually sticks.
WHY VIDEO RATHER THAN TEXT
A chord shape is much easier to copy than to read about. Watching a hand move, at your own speed, with a pause button, gets most beginners past the first few weeks faster than any diagram does. Replay the same eight seconds twenty times if that is what it takes - nobody is counting.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE FIRST WEEK
Your first chords, how to hold them so they ring cleanly instead of buzzing, and a simple strumming pattern to put underneath them - enough to play along with a lot of songs. The rest builds from there.
WHO IT IS FOR
Complete beginners who have never held a guitar. Players coming back to it after years away. Anyone who learned three chords once and wants to turn them into real songs. You do not need to read music, and you do not need any theory to start.
HOW TO GET THE MOST FROM IT
Short and often beats long and rare. Ten or fifteen minutes a day, one lesson at a time, will take you further than a single long session at the weekend. Pick a course, watch the lesson, then put the phone down and play it.

Just saying overall it looks like a good app I’m learning to play guitar for my music so I think this would be a good app
Doesn’t follow a linear progression of teaching

I am just starting guitar. I have been in the music business for over 40 years, but always as a technician. When I opened this app, it seemed friendly, but soon got a really dark lost to it. I don’t know where to go! I do not know where to start! I only know the terminology from being FOH, and I shouldn’t have to sort through what different styles are right off the bat. I will give this app a couple more tries but it’s not looking good.
* Master new chords for your favorite songs.
* Explore updated song library for practice.
* Enjoy improved chord diagrams for clarity.
* Minor bug fixes for a smoother experience.
