CoospoRide is a cycling app developed by COOSPO. This app can connect to cycling bike computers and sensors from the COOSPO brand, record cycling data, and sync to STRAVA. This app can help you understand your body status better while cycling by analyzing the saved cycling data and enjoy a smart cycling experience. The more exercise you do, the healthier you will be! Tips In the riding mode, GPS will keep working. When switching to the background, the GPS won't be stopped. GPS running in the background will affect the battery life of your phone.

Before, it was relatively easy to sync/ upload rides. Now, one has to go into devices, select the device (if you only have one device this is a real unnecessary step that’s been created), select data sync, and now you can upload your ride. Auto-sync has practically become a moot function. The process is a lot more involved than previous. Please bring it back to where the user can sync rides straight from the activity page.

1. Design: The app looks great. It looks “light,” the design is modern, and above all, it's self-explanatory in all areas. It's a real quantum leap compared to the “old” app. I particularly like the new overview screen when you open the statistics for a completed tour.2. Functions: The app has all the functions you could want from a cycling app. These are also sensibly arranged and categorized in the app.3. Diagrams: I would like to see a function in the diagrams that allows you to show and hide different values. (speed, altitude, etc.).

The app does what it is supposed to and has a clean interface. Pairing was hard until I realized that the extremely tiny serial number on the sensor is the name of the device while pairing. The thing to be aware of is that if the app is in its 3-2-1 countdown mode to start a cycling session, *you must wait for the countdown to complete* before putting the app into the background or the app freezes and never starts recording.
So far so good, but beware…

One scan through the privacy policy was all I needed to turn around and run. There are so many data points they will store (and probably share with other companies) and none of it is necessary. This app was already an unnecessary step since I should be able to connect my cycling computer directly to my phone without this app to serve as a bridge to other apps, but no option to decline a laundry list of personal data collection sent this app straight to the deletion pile.

This app was already an unnecessary step since I should be able to connect my cycling computer directly to my phone without this app to serve as a bridge to other apps, but no option to decline a laundry list of personal data collection sent this app straight to the deletion pile.
