Rage games are still supposed to have a proper difficulty curve. Rage games are still supposed to have somewhat lenient input periods in order to succeed at a jump or movement. This does not have either of those things. The first 5 stages are considerably easy, and then stage 6 may take 10 to 15 tries to memorize the inputs for (and you can still mess up on the last part if you fire slightly too early or late), and then stages 7 through 9 are easier again, and then stages 10 and 11 are a bit more difficult (which is fine), until stages 12 through 15 (especially 13) are extremely difficult or annoying to perform. Regarding 13, you need an almost frame-perfect input on the first “peg” in order to fire the egg through the hole on the right. If you fire too early, the egg will fall onto the last peg & then go onto the 4th or 5th peg (depending on whether or not you are holding) and if you start to hold or let go it will either fall through the floor or go back left. And if you fire too late, it will bounce off the wall back down onto either the 4th/5th peg again or the 3rd peg: firing or letting go of the 3rd peg leading back to it going onto the 4th/5th peg again with nothing to do about it. The thing that makes this even worse is that 14 is considerably easier than 13- as I was able to beat 14 on my first or second try. And then I didn’t even know what to do for 15 with no hints given by the game. It doesn’t even save your progress after you quit.
