I really like the ease of finding LFLs on the app. Any time I’m in a new area, I open up the map and see if there are any new ones close to me that I can visit. I also have my own LFL and I like to update the temporary message and check the check-ins (maybe just a little bit obsessively). It would be nice if we could control the banner for the temporary message a little bit, like changing the duration (ex. I would like my announcement to last for the whole month because it’s Spooky Season related). The steward resources are great but I wish it was easier to apply for books and then go back to the list of giveaways, right now I have to close out of the whole page and start over scrolling through list of giveaways. It would be fun if there was a badge for becoming a steward.
Exciting but also disappointing

I was so excited to find that little free library has an app! I’ve been saying for a while I wish I could find something like this!! But I have some complaints, I do not have a LittleFreeLibrary (yet my hubby is in the process of building me one for my birthday) but there are little free libraries that are not listed on this app, and it won’t let me add them because I’m not the caretaker for them! I feel like it shouldn’t matter who’s taking care of the library I should be able to upload the fact that there are missing ones people could be using, but might not know about. I live in the middle of the country so I was excited to find this app so that way when I go into town I could find different places to exchange books. But half of the Little Free Librarys I use are not on this app! Now there are quite a few that I didn’t know about that I have found on this app, but they need to do something different. Maybe they could create a separate tab where you could add different libraries that were missing without claiming ownership of them? But I feel like people are missing out because the owners of the libraries don’t know about this app!!
Love it!

I absolutely love the Little Free Library app! As a Little Free Library steward, it makes it so easy to stay connected with other libraries and readers and to see what’s happening in the Little Free Library community. I love being able to find other little libraries, discover new ones when I’m traveling, and share my own library with people who may not even know it’s there.Being a steward is so much more than just putting up a little box of books, and I really appreciate that Little Free Library gives us the tools and support to grow our libraries and make a difference in our communities. I’m so proud of my little library and everything it has become, and this app is just another way to be part of such an amazing book-loving community. 📚❤️If you love books, reading, or giving back to your community, I definitely recommend it!
Handy to find free little libraries...but

This is extremely helpful to locate FLL - I wish the blue banner on the top didn't cover 1/3 of the map on my phone...not sure why it's so big. Irritating. I've tried the routing, but it doesn't 'route' in the order I have selected them...I can't figure out how it is selecting the 'next' FLL to go to, but it makes no sense to me. I also wish the app intergrated more fully with google maps or whatever, it would be more convenient to have the routing in the app, as opposed to having the maps open...maybe it's not possible, I don't know. That said, overall I am happy to have this tool to find FLL, without it, I would not be looking for them very much.
