Mastercard In Control™ Pay allows users to seamlessly manage their mobile virtual commercial cards. Users can effortlessly add cards to their digital wallets and experience secure online, in-app, over the phone, and contactless payments. With In Control Pay, organizations can simplify and enhance Travel & Expense (T&E) and B2B payments for both employees and non-employees.

HOW DOES A USER GET STARTED?
Mastercard In Control Pay app is only for users who receive a virtual commercial card from an organization and issued by a participating financial institution. Mastercard will send the user an email with a unique invitation code to register for the app. Once the user is registered, the virtual card(s) will be automatically linked to the user’s profile in the app. From there, the user can add the virtual commercial card to a digital wallet.

SEAMLESS PAYMENT EXPERIENCE: Use the virtual commercial card to pay digitally for organizational spending. Don’t fumble for exact change or use a personal credit card and wait for reimbursement.
TRANSPARENT CONTROLS: View controls set by the organization for the virtual cards in the app. These include how, where and when virtual cards can be used.
REAL-TIME AND ENHANCED DATA: See completed and processing transactions through our app with an option to filter the transactions by virtual card number (VCN) and time periods to get a complete picture of spending.
A HOLISTIC VIEW: Manage virtual commercial cards from multiple participating financial institutions within the same app.
INCREASED SECURITY: Feel confident your virtual cards are secure. All mobile virtual card payments are tokenized, with the sensitive data replaced by a unique alternative card number, so account information is never revealed to merchants, decreasing the risk of fraud. Plus, biometric authentication and a 5-digit PIN can be utilized to access virtual cards.

Won’t let me sign in. I need to activate my card for online purchases, otherwise my $300 card is useless. Internet says the only way I can do that is by the app that DOESN’T WORK!!! Now, I’m out of $300 because the reservations I need to pay for are only online.

Won’t let me log in nor sign up… waste of my time waste of an app
We enhanced the app with additional security by introducing authentication for future password changes. We have also simplified the UI by removing custom data fields in the app.
