4.6 stars to me is astonishing. I have little faith that Motorola isn’t gaming these numbers. We have had this for system for a while now. The monitor has never stayed connected for more than A couple of days—even when we keep it in the next room. (1,000 feet of distance is an utterly absurd claim; this would lose connection in an open field at about 200 feet I’m sure of it). So we abandoned the monitor and have tried to use our phones and WiFi to manage it. But it’s the same problem. Inexplicably, they will disconnect in the middle of the night. Want to add more phones with the share tokens? Great, you’ll get about 15 minutes of access before those go caput. Want to use the “sign in to an existing nursery” feature? Cool. That will stay connected for somewhere between three minutes and a few hours. Just a truly awful product.

Hello. I'm sorry to hear that you have issues with your unit. You can log in with up to 4 devices (phones) to the same app account. Just use the same email address to log in. You can watch a live stream from all devices at the same time. Regarding the disconnecting issue, that seems camera-related as it happens with both the monitor and the app. Please contact our support team to replace the camera. I appreciate your understanding. What’s the point if the app never works?

I love the convenience of this app. No making sure the monitor is charged and my phone is already pretty much on me at all times. Remote check in capability is so cool. However, that’s only when the app is working. The feed is ALWAYS spotty and freezes constantly. I’ve used this monitor on different Wi-Fi networks & modems and in various locations/houses and it makes no difference. Closing the app entirely and reopening it only works occasionally. Sometimes the feed never loads, sometimes it takes a second, other times minutes. Sometimes there’s a delay that’s so dramatic, your kid could crawl out of bed and come get you before you ever see it on the monitor. Absolutely do not trust pop up notifications on this thing. I’ve literally lifted my baby out of bed and resettled him multiple times in a row without the app ever registering movement or noise. He’s had full on meltdowns the app apparently never knew about. Finally, who puts a gigantic light on a monitor that’s supposed to be right over baby’s bed? Some parents fight with light gaps on black out curtains. I fight with a stupid blue light my kid won’t stop staring at instead of sleeping. Idk if other baby monitors and their apps work better or the same or if I should lower my expectations, but I’m probably going to shell out another several hundred bucks for a different one from another brand just so I can conveniently check on my child without cursing my monitor app every time I do.

Works pretty well. We have to reset the camera any time it’s disconnected from the WiFi network but this doesn’t happen too often. My only real complaint is the constant notifications warning me of the expiration of the subscription to the 90 day 24 hour cloud recording service which I never subscribed to. The notifications pop up alongside any notification of movement or noise from the camera and any time I open the app and often for no apparent reason at all. It’s often two or three identical notifications simultaneously. There is no way to disable these notifications and it’s extremely irritating.

This baby monitor works great besides two issues. EVERY single night, the monitor goes offline. And when it goes offline it CLICKS in my daughters room and the music goes off. Then it clicks back on. When it clicks back on the volume has been set to the lowest setting and I have to go turn it back to where I had it. Now the problem w that is the button for the music is missing 50% of the time from the app. For both my husband and I. Right now I am playing lullabies on my phone because the button is missing and I can’t turn it on for her from the monitor. I have reported this issue TWICE through customer service on the app. Not once did I hear back from anyone. In fact, it’s gotten worse since then. If these two things were fixed, I would give it 4 stars. One star missing because none of the pictures I take ever save to the gallery even though it says they do. This app is very flawed.
