I played this game for months it was great. There was an occasional difficulty spike but after upgrading troops it went back to fun. After a break I come back to better more units and changes in the game. Ok cool they are updating it still that’s good but now I can’t even beat the gold rush mission dead by turn 10 because somehow the AI has enough money to not only research everything but make all the units and has 5 hero units and 4 cavalry plus an unlimited supply of archers and I can do nothing. Not to mention the other 2 AI that has the same thing. The moment I encounter another civ it’s not a matter of if I am going to lose but a matter of how I’m going to lose. If I do some how magically beat back an ai here comes the next to attack from the other side

(Update) After getting farther in the campaign, the AI gets somewhat better, and hard difficulty level does eventually unlock. However, the latest update adding a button appearing like every 20 secs during gameplay offering goods in exchange for watching an ad was just too much - there are already A LOT of places where ads are offered. Most of them you can avoid, but this new button just gets in the way too much - I just know I'm going to end up tapping on it accidentally just as it appears. I'm done.(End update)Production values are good, but the AI is way too simple - spawns like 2-3 units in an entire game and barely expands (only played through the first set of levels, but still, AI that easy should only be on the first level or two). And first 2-3 levels even show you where the enemy city is! Lol. This game is basically a poor copy of Hexonia but instead of tribes (different sets of armies), you have the leader heroes and some armies which you can assign to your chosen hero. But whereas Hexonia has a good variety of different tribes, this only seems to have different heroes (I haven't seen more than one of each type of army, so as far as I can tell, you'll always have those same armies even if you use different heroes). The skill trees are weird too - they don't really make much sense in their progression (compare to Hexonia - each tree there makes perfect sense in the progression of unlocks).

This is a great game. You can learn it easily. It is a ton of fun that will keep you engaged. It only has 2 big downfalls. The first is the lack of any wiki or other like aspects outside of discord. The second and much more detrimental is the inability to play across devices, even of the same type. Not being able to start on an iPhone, and pick up on an iPad, or vice versa, is a sorely missing component. In the current age this should be standard. I wouldn’t recommend spending any money on a product that is missing that feature. Despite this the game is so fun I still give it a 5* rating because there are no 1/2 stars.

I had a a lot of fun with this game really like that there is a lot of heroes and units to upgrade and armies. The biggest issue as most have stated is the AI and power spikes. The AI goes from being a 2 year old to a veteran chess player. It feels almost entirely unbeatable to the point I dropped the game. Even when I was doing amazing the AI seemed to just have an infinite supply of resources and units. Not to mention that there is most definitely some balancing issues. Zombies should not be as strong as they are. No hate for the game as it’s very fun and enjoyable but you get to a point where you plateau and everything after that point feels awful to play.
