It’s actually easier on the iPad than it is on a browser. Much less cluttered. Much nicer, interface, and layout. But it still has the problem of not being able to set the default language of videos. Every time I look up a video I have to change the language to English so that I can screen out others. I would also like the option of being able to tune out / turn off the video feed of blogs that I am not interested in so that they don’t show up front and center every time.
Less Useful Than Desktop

The mobile version of the app is a lot less useful than the desktop. A lot of of the features, such as a functional homepage, editing, and viewing all parts of a profile, and using all features of writing a comment are either different diminished or unavailable. One of the major bonuses of this app is that people track their board game playing statistics, but the app features those statistics differently than the desktop version. For example, the desktop version tracks the number of individual game plays, Whereas the mobile version will track game sessions. So if I play one game three times in a sitting, the desktop version will count that it’s three plays, but the mobile version will only have it show up as one session.

For quick lookups on the go, this is better than a mobile browser, being tweaked enough to give it an app-like feel.Read, write (some things), research, and more. It isn’t as easy as a computer, and that’s fine. This is a curated version of the site. The interface is mobile-enabled web rather than mobile front end with mobile-first choices.It isn’t luxury so much as Craigslist, but it gets me what I need, when I need it.

The app has been getting better and better over time - great job getting it into a great place. but…. ***Please make the my collection view more useful***What I really want to do it look at my collection and filter it based on the criteria needed to choose a game for a group of friends coming over. Number of players, difficulty, length of time, etc. This has got to be a very common use case for many of your site’s users. The old Boardgame bible app had this from an imported view of my bgg collection, and I used it all the time. I could care less if I have parts or want parts, and many other current filters in place right now, for example.
