I was saving for the lifetime version of this app for the past couple months, as I wanted to use a health tracking app with my watch that had extra challenges and still presented decent enough info. I checked back just yesterday and noticed they discontinued the lifetime right as I gathered enough finances to purchase it. I reached out to them and they confirmed it's unavailable now. I asked if they could make an exception as I had literally no idea this was even planned to be taken away and I received no response. I'm extremely frustrated and upset because I spent so long just to save money to buy the lifetime. I get that no one is an exception for anything, as the world doesn't work that way, but I can't lie and say this sudden switch with no notice doesn't make me absolutely infuriated and feel disregarded in every way, shape and form.Until this is fixed, my review will remain unchanged and will not be recommending GrowPal to anyone, as the devs don't seem to care much about the fairness of this situation. It just feels unethical because I quite literally was never aware of this change and spent time selling things and doing what I could to get this lifetime, as I needed something to give me motivation and make a healthy change in my life for the long run. I really thought I could use GrowPal to aid in it, but now that option is gone. I guess it's my fault for putting in my all to get this premium, but it still feels messed up and wrong to not offer the lifetime for someone who had no idea it'll be removed, and specifically saved for it.I hope this review will be seen and this can be discussed, because this feels so wrong, hurtful, and extremely unfair. It screams greed and unwillingness to help their userbase, and everyone is easily replaceable because that's just how business works. It doesn't matter at this point if there's no obligations for them to do anything about this, but the principle of the issue is where the actual problem lies.
