# Transfer
Scan just the first QR code to transfer from your Switch 1 console. You can transfer up to ten screenshots or a single video. Select Photos or iCloud Drive as the export destination. Are you playing on a TV? No problem; with zoom, you can comfortably scan the needed QR code from your sofa.

View the screenshot & videos you transferred in a convenient gallery; items are grouped by game and can be quickly shared.

I first saw this app from a video and was like, “hey, that’s cool” I just hoped that it wouldn’t be an annoying app where you need to pay to get all the important features, or there were just ads every two seconds, but NO! I downloaded it and was surprised with how much they give you for it being free. You can buy an upgraded version of the app for some extra customization and you can favorite unlimited games. You can search for any upcoming switch game and favorite it if you want, and by clicking on it you can see videos, images, how many days until release, and more to keep track of when your favorite games come out. And the best part is that you can add widgets to your phone so when you are every curious when a game is coming out, just check there. You can find out how to add the widgets in the more tab of Switch Buddy. In conclusion, absolutely amazing app. There is nothing wrong about it for what it says. I’m excited for what new updates will come in the future.

First off why have a fee for this app? I see it as just a way to explore what games you can get for your Switch. Secondly and possibly more important is the fact that there’s not enough information about the games. Like you can filter for multiplayer games but it doesn’t tell you which games are only two players or which ones are more than two players. I downloaded the app to find 4 player games that I can play with my kids and since I have 3 kids I like 4 player games. It seems as though they put little effort into the app and are just interested in making money. They are short on information and the fact that the app would help sell games better if it had certain information and no fees. If nothing else why not include it in the switch online app that also has a fee. Double dipping is not the best idea in my opinion. Maybe think about the fact that original NES systems were played by the parents of the kids who have a Switch and there was only the cost of the games. There are far to many fees associated with gaming these days and with the cost of the system, controllers, games, and online play enough is enough.

Hello, thanks for the feedback. SwitchBuddy is unofficial "fan app" or "indie" if you like built by single person. I am also working on the server component that makes lots of the features in the app even possible. Since I have server costs, pay for OpenCritic data and more, I simply cannot offer it for free.I understand that some of the data might not be complete and particularly the details about multiplayer is something that makes sense and I will try to add it if I can get hold of this data.

Updated! Fantastic app! The developers actually listen and fixed the problem within days! The search feature is perfect and makes it so much easier to find titles and see if they are appropriate for my 10 year old. Great tool for parents who don’t know about the gaming world but still trying to connect with kiddos. I like the app very well as a parent. Makes it easier to understand what my 10 year old is asking me to buy. But when I search, the result screen is cut off, I tried to send feedback, but it wanted me to download another app for my email and I already have three apps for my email accounts for work and schools. Update the search feature and I will update my review. ;)

This works amazingly well to get screenshots and all off my Switch however…. A small suggestion: I donated to the Tip Jar to help and was surprised to get different themes as a bonus however only unlocked some of them making me think it’s based on a tier of what you donate. This should be better noted in the app. Reading it made me think I’d get all the themes…. Not just some? Edit: it appears to actually be a bug. I’ve submitted the dev screenshots to have it resolved! Thanks! Edit 2: Bug has been resolved already with latest update! Thank you!
