I guess people don’t know how to do their own research anymore and are just mindlessly applying for lease-to-owns nowadays. Reading these reviews has truly stunned me to my pearls, because y’all are mad that this is a lease to own program and you didn’t take the time to educate yourself on how this service works? Y’all are crazy, Acima, just like Progressive, Snap, and other LEASE-TO-OWN programs works amazing at facilitating your payments as well as giving you 90 days option to pay it off with no lease to own cost. Educate yourselves before bad mouthing on this company who provides a great flexible service for people. Shame on y’all for your ignorance, it’s not Acima’s fault that y’all didn’t read the fine print or ask more questions when applying and signing your lease to own agreement.

Do not use Acima. You will end up paying 4 times the original amount of the item This is a very predatory company and the interest rate is higher that any other way of credit probably like 250 to 400 percent interest. They reached out to me so see why my review was so bad I reached out to them explaining that the agent on the phone with my first lease told me 90 day pay off option is the cash price of the product bought plus $50 which turned out to be a very big lie. I was going to pay off a lease today I opened a few weeks ago and noticed I was going to be charged a little over $300 in fees for an $800 lease when I tried to explain this on the phone the lady got aggressive with me and tried to keep me from speaking until I got aggravated and got loud with her. I am going to contact an attorney today because I was lied to by an Acima agent which the basis of me using Acima was because of the lies the original agent I contacted told me. DO NOT USE ACIMA you will regret it the entire time you do business with them. I had a $1750 lease last year that charged me $100 in fees I liked over everything today and found this now they are charging $300 over for an $800 lease. They keep sending me an email saying reach out to them then they are very rude to me on the phone and try to be intimidating I’m going to get a lawyer involved

I'm reading the views and just don't understand. I guess some of you guys didn't read the fine print. It's just like any loan or Aaron's or Rent A Center. If you don't pay within a certain time frame then you pay interest. Rooms to go does it. Sometimes when you get a new credit card 0% interest for 12 months. I mean come on people. If you can't pay it off in 90 days then don't get it. It's just that simple. I've always paid off my items within 90 days. I don't want to shell out all my cash at once. So this option great for me. I guess you guys are sticking to the 30 year fixed mortgage as well. Look at your interest you are paying after 30 years. You will be shocked. Same concept. But I don't know nothing. Smart people know how to handle their finances and credit. Acima I thank you for your services and will continue to use them.

They only care about money! I ordered, the vendor canceled for some unknown reason. When this happened they quickly held my deposite for 2 weeks and then took my account and closed it, said they couldn’t confirm it was me??? After calling in several times and chatting several times it is my conclusion you can do a lot better using ANYONE else. 2nd issue, I explained what happened to 6 different people who passed me around and all read to me automated statements claiming I had canceled and I had revoked my credit, so much so I couldn’t get a word in!!! Then I reviewed the app! They contacted me apologizing and offering to help, when I did I was treated like an 8 year old, the guy basically stated the same thing over and over! He didn’t care about what really happened he only cared that he could see in his computer screen. In so many words f this place
