1. Optimized the efficiency of the red ball scoring button. By default, scoring a red ball now requires only a single click, eliminating the need to expand the button first. To accommodate the habits of long-time users, a toggle for this convenience feature is provided on the home screen, and it is disabled by default.
2. Added a voice prompt before the break-off in a black ball tiebreaker. After the coin toss is completed, the system will announce the player who is to take the break-off shot.

1.61 06/10/2024
Thank you all for the support of snookerPad. After months of hard work, I have finally completed the full historical data function. With this version, all the functional modules of snookerPad have been fully implemented. From now on, snookerPad will thoroughly record all of your match experiences and present colorful data statistics and analysis through these historical records. Additionally, in the "Growth Record Report" on the last page of the historical records, we also support the sharing function. So, remember to show off to your friends when your skills improve. From now on, snookerPad will officially become an essential tool for all snooker enthusiasts.
Another major update this time: snookerPad's records now support syncing across multiple devices (under the same iCloud account). This means that your historical records can be retained as you update your iPhone (or iPad). All records will be archived in your iCloud, and all of your Apple devices associated with your account can access this information. For example, the matches you record with your iPad at the club can be accessed and displayed on your iPhone, and vice versa. As for security, iCloud is still trustworthy, isn't it?
The user manual has been extensively updated, and any potential issues related to the new historical record module have been added to the FAQ on the last page.
Various other minor bug fixes.
1.60 04/18/2024
This version has fixed a large number of details, and we recommend that all users update as soon as possible. Main issues and adjustments addressed include:
1. It was found that in actual usage, when there are fewer than 3 red balls on the table, there were serious issues when clicking the free ball button in the free ball mode. This has now been fixed.
2. Through communication with CHARTGPT, it was discovered that in previous snooker matches, there have been instances of up to 5 red balls being potted in a single shot. While this scenario is rare, it clearly exceeds the maximum of three red balls simultaneously supported by snookerPad. This issue has been addressed in this update. When a similar situation occurs, you can long-press the number 3 red ball button in the popup to increment its value. Each long-press will increase the red ball count by 1, up to the total number of red balls on the table, effectively covering all possible scenarios of potting multiple red balls in a single shot.
3. Supplementary information for match time has been added to the top of the interface, and clicking it allows the switch between total duration and time taken for the current frame.
4. As an important component of the AKB, the app identifier has been adjusted in the latest version of AKB, allowing direct invocation of snookerPad, achieving true integration. Therefore, please pay attention to the latest version of AKB.
5. The end-of-frame dialog now includes a summary of the current match, providing reference for players' analysis.
6. Comprehensive layout optimization has been performed for the iPad interface, making the current version of snookerPad for iPad highly user-friendly.
7. A new energy saving mode has been added to improve device battery life when using snookerPad. Additionally, the energy saving mode is now included in the settings button at the bottom of the scoring interface and can be toggled as needed.
8. After having several friends who had never used snookerPad test it for a few days, they provided feedback stating that while the manual was helpful, it was not visible on the scoring interface, and they did not think to refer back to it. It is suggested to introduce the help interface into the scoring interface, which has been implemented in the end button at the bottom of the scoring interface for real-time reference to address any issues.
1.52 01/19/2024
During a recent friendly match with friends, I noticed that one of them was using snookerPad on an iPad. Initially, I didn't pay much attention to the compatibility with iPads, but after giving it a try, I discovered several issues. For instance, when there was a tie, the gold coins for competing for the black ball couldn't be displayed completely. This update primarily focuses on making significant adjustments for iPads, and the issues identified during the adjustment process will also be implemented in the iPhone version.

Some friends have given feedback that clicking on a foul during the last ball causes a flashback. This time, the problem is mainly fixed.
In addition, while researching the bug, I learned about the foul rule of the last ball by the way. It was confirmed that when a foul is committed on the last ball, as long as both sides score different points after calculating the penalty, the game will end directly. This update also updated that rule.
