Wonderful App for Learning Your Discs and Exploring New Ones
HotTabascoSauce
Been using this a while, I know my discs pretty well, but I still use it occasionally to help with shot selection. It’s great for beginners and I recommend it to my friends who are just starting out. I love you you can adjust arm speed to help tailor your flights. Mostly I use it to identify gaps in my bag, helping me find discs to try and see how I like (recently realized I needed a slightly over stable higher-speed mid range, then used the explore feature to identify a few options).Recommendations to the Developer:1. Add Custom User Names (Nicknames?) for discs: I have a few discs that I have multiples of the same stamp and color and they fly different. I would like to be able to tell them apart in the app. For Example: “Pink Thrasher #1 (Stable)” and “Pink Thrasher #2 (Less stable)”.2. Add notes for discs: it would be nice to be able to put notes in about discs in a section in the disc page. Things like “slightly less stable”, “lost in the creek at XXXXX Course on MM/DD/YY”, or “Lent to John Smith”. This would allow tracking of different discs or notes on lost discs that you would or would not like to replace.3. Add a zoom function to the chart, maybe a slider that changes the magnification? I know this is a weird and hard one but would be super useful.4. Add a profile section that lets you input recent scores/rated rounds and tracks your rating over time, doesn’t need to be linked to PDGA# but you could use pull from there too probably.

Information randomly deleted

My disc weights randomly disappear. They also vanish if you update the disc image after entering them in. I put a lot of time into inventorying my discs, so to have information lost after closing the app, is just frustrating. The shutter button is too small as well. You try to line up the circle with your disc to take a picture, then you’re trying to find and hit the shutter button using your periphery. The disc explorer is pretty cool but needs to be updated. Promising app but needs work.-update-To the developer, thank you for responding about the bugs. Within the app, it will not let me “send a message”, “write a review”, or “report a bug” which is why I resorted to going into the App Store and including it in my review. I had a much more detailed review but when I switched windows to look at the app for reference, my entire review was deleted, twice, so I had to resort to a much shorter less detailed review. I tried opening your website listed in the app and it was not found or had a server error.

Pretty Close to Perfect

Found this app last night, and love it so far! The one change request I have for it is when a user goes to Chart in a bag. A user can flip the switch for forehand or backhand and the chart shows the expected flight paths based on where arm speed is put. It currently does this for the whole bag. My requested change is that the switch be put in each disc's individual profile, so when a user indicates which way they throw it that bags chart reflects each discs intended flight path on one chart. Perhaps I missing that option somewhere on the app, but if not I believe adding that in a future update would make this a five star app.Other than that thanks for putting together a stellar app for disc golfers!
Love the app! Needs some improvement.

First of all, this app is already very nice, and I think it has the potential to be an app everyone that plays disc golf uses. Already I am loving the features in the app, seeing the matrix and chart for flight paths it’s wonderful. As a beginner it helps me when looking to buy discs. As I said, it does need some improvement, but I understand it is a new app. The biggest thing I noticed so far is that in the chart, it is hard to tell what flight paths are from what if you have to many discs because the words do not line up very well. Very excited to see what this app becomes!

Thank you! The problem you mentioned will be fixed in the next version. We appreciate your feedback because it helps us to make app even better. It means we develop it together ;)
Now in your language!
My Disc Golf now speaks 18 languages, so the whole app feels at home wherever you play:
English, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Estonian, Icelandic, Latvian, Lithuanian, German, Czech, Slovak, Polish, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese.
The app follows your device language automatically — with proper disc golf wording, not robotic machine translation.
