RØDE Central is an easy-to-use mobile companion app for compatible RØDE microphones that allows you to configure your device settings anywhere, unlock advanced features and processing, access device information, and update to the latest firmware.
Note: You will need to use an MFi-certified Lightning Accessory cable such as the RØDE SC15 or SC21 to connect your RØDE microphone to your smartphone. To access on-board recordings from the Wireless GO II, you will need to use the desktop version of the RØDE Central app.

I downloaded the Rode Central App on my phone right after I received my microphones and it told me I had to update firmware of my microphone on a desktop. I then went on my laptop, connected the microphone only to find that I’m not able to download the app. That’s it’s only for iPhone or IPad. I paid good money for these headphones and now I can’t fully utilize their capabilities… please help. Thanks.
Better Have USB-C

My main computer doesn’t have USB-C and the firmware wouldn’t update on my phone. After draining my phone battery trying to update, I borrowed a friend’s Mac and successfully downloaded the firmware after spending an hour with the AI customer support. AI told me the package included an old style USB adapter and after looking in the package and turning my office upside down, it admitted it had made a mistake. It took over an hour to get the firmware installed, I hope this works. Note to Rode: AI customer service is no customer service at all. This is the first bad experience I’ve ever had with Rode products, makes me wonder if they’ve been bought by a venture capital company, because that’s what it feels like.

It's been problem after problem trying to get the Rode app to work. Finally got the Wireless ME connected, had to update, then watched it cycle endlessly for nearly half an hour before giving up.They suggested using their desktop app (macOS). First attempt the install failed. Second attempt it ran, but the Wireless ME never connected. Product is new, using their provided cables. Still unable to control mic settings.I'm quite shocked with how hellish it's been just trying to increase the volume on this mic.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. There should not be this many obstacles to make a product work.
