Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Basic features work fine like checking the mountain map or lift lines while at the base. Some of the more advanced features seem cool but not super well implemented like tracking your runs and stuff. I largely go to airplane mode while going up the chair, which largely renders the app unusable.
An upgrade, but too difficult to read

The app is an improvement as Bachelor does not have very good reader boards showing lift status and no information on wait times at resort. But The page displays on the app need to be improved. For example on my iPhone 10, the font for wait times is as small as an old school telephone book. This is not very useful on the slopes when many factors can limit your vision. Also much of the information is repetitive. For example, the name of each chairlift shows up twice on the lift status. Show it once with bigger font so all lifts can be viewed on same page without scrolling. Overall, pages on app should be simplified and font size increased to improve user interface.
You ——- pieces of —— app developers/project managers

Blizzard white out conditions suddenly struck on the backside. Got separated from buddy on the backside. Lost/weak cell service. Super deep, nearly dangerously deep powder surrounded by tree wells. Worried that I might not see the catch line and ski past it. And I turn on you app hoping to get a my bearing on your map… “ERROR CANNOT CONNECT TO RESORT SEVER”… your app was UNUSABLE because of that error when it should not have been. Where am I coming from: I have years of experience developing mobile mapping apps and you piece of —— is a dangerous liability for its inabilities to operate off line. Pathetic. Your nonlinear geospatial translations of James Niehues map art were impressive. Obviously someone needs to implement it SAFELY and correctly.
Is this obsolete now?

Ski season - still says bike park status. Takes a second to change it. Web site shows lifts that were open in the morning but didn’t update them on the app as they opened throughout the day. Have moved to using website on phone although not ideal. Yellow filter box covers the lift names. If on a budget, hire a consultant to come and connect the two (app and site) so you only have to update once and stream line everything else. Then you can hire a budget friendly person to update text and status through the season.
Updated Mt. Bachelor app for the 25/26 winter season. See what’s happening each day at a glance from your homescreen, earn resort discounts through unlocking achievements, and get monthly and season-long tracking recaps delivered to your inbox.
